Will the seedling still grow if the tip of the tap root cracked? I did the paper towel method as usual and it grew into the paper towel...cheap ones I guess..I tryd my best I've done this 100 times and 1st broken tip...I hope it still grows or is worth just starting over? Anyone? Please and thanks...1st time breaking one...

The tip of the tap root cracked..only the tip...is it still able to grow? Or start over...I planted it anyway and started another just in case ....I was using the paper towel method and it grew into the paper towel....so trying to carefully take it out the tip cracked...well I guess I'll have 2 in a 5 gal pot....I just don't need anything slowing me down.... @WeedIsMySpinach have you ever had this problem? It's my 1st time I'm usually good at not hurting seedlings....ty

It should be ok. Time will tell. Recently I had a seedling with a huge Taproot and its membrane leaves pop inside a paper towel. Leaves were yellow and put in soil and it bounced back in 24hrs green and all. They're resilient little fuckers

It's generally never a good outcome when the root snaps on a seedling. Instead of fumbling with paper towels etc just plant the seed directly into the medium just as mother nature intended.

Is there a glitch in the matrix?

The plant will grow slower, and end up a little smaller compared to others from the same pack of seeds, because of the broken tap root.
It will still finish, and give you buds, it’ll just have a little harder time doing it.

I usually use root riots or 2in rockwool cubes and plant straight to pot but it takes sometime.I've had a plant take 2 weeks to pop up...3 days paper towel method....I usually am very careful but this one grew allup in the paper towl...Ill get some root riots....ty
