Broken ground seedling problem help

Never come accross this one. A seedling broke ground and the seed shell is larger then normal. The plant is about one inch off the soil and the seed shell will not come off the plant. Toke a very slight tug that didn't help. Suggestions please to those with experience please. This is a very special seed of og. thanks

spray it with some water.. wait a minute and then try to pull it off. if it still wont come off just let it fall off.

Hope its not a dud seed. If you can see an opening in the shell try to gently open it with tweezers.

Take reply 2 and 3 and combine them! I spay with water then spread with tweezers. You have to be careful! I have seen way to many pepole take off the whole top!
