Broken branch

Ok tried tying down barely any pressure and you can see it split! I’m just wondering should I leave it? Should I just cut it off? I thought about trying to clone it but I’ve had 0% success rate! Although I was gonna get 2 clear 16oz cups tape them together n give it a shot I’ve got rooting gel but I’ve had no success in cloneing. Also thought about super gluing it? Any advice is much appreciated! Hope you’re having a a awesome day!

Super gluing it... not a very good idea.
I've had similar fuckups like this. what I did was I used a bit of cloning gel to smear between the surface and used twisted ties to tie the broken branch to the opposite branch, it worked. But my plant was way younger than yours so I don't know if this info can help you out or not.

image.jpg It pretty much already healed itself Idk but it’ll be the last time I try tying it down the opposite stem fell off trying to tie it down and I was being ridiculously gentle with it just gonna let it grow a couple weeks n start supercroping it. I’ll leave the Edward scissor hands to the other plant. here’s a pic below I got a little carried away with‼yeah I’ll let this one be for a while too maybe try to tie this one down in a couple weeks we’ll see! LOVE MY PLANTS image.jpg

I can second electrical tape. I have broke my shit scrogging a few times and some tape will fix it right up
The break will grow a knuckle stronger than the original branch.

Looks like there is still enough meat there to keep the branch going. As long as it does not impede the rest of the plant leave her be and cross your fingers.

Good luck, BigSteve.

Looks like she's doing just fine! I would say you already started super cropping... :) I learned how to do that accidentally too lol... In my case I was already two weeks into flower, but the branch didn't tear like that, just bent straight over. I used duct tape, but only very loosely around the branch enough to hold it up a little bit. It healed up just fine and allowed me to get my canopy more even anyway... In fact that branch turned a deep purple... I think electrical tape might be a better idea though. Either way it was fine and maybe even beneficial...

Yeah don't sweat it. You could wrap that shit with scotch tape and it would be fine, assuming you haven't ripped that branch off lol

Athletic or electrical tape. I probably have a ft of tape one one of my girls. If you wrap tight, keep an eye on it. Remember to remove after a week or so. These ladies can take some punishment.

Yeah I was only kind of kidding about the scotch tape but yeah, good tape works well. I am going to get some athletic tape for my next grow. I snapped a branch trimming and was worried about it, but the leaves never wilted or anything and it grew back stronger.

tape is my go to, i have used cable ties, twist ties, plant wire etc. all work but remember to remove it when the plant is healed.

I've used wires and missed one when removing them. Had a very beefy branch with a wire almost half way through it. Like a half inch into it. Thank God these plants are beasts
