Bringing weed across the US border from Canada?

Okay so im going on a family trip with my folks to Virginia, i got a friend who is going with me and i was wondering if it was a good idea that i bring a little bit of weed across the border. Im coming from montreal so well cross the border at NYC. Im only bringing like a 1g, but its very well concealed and i figured i wont be sketch if were with my parents. My friend agreed that if i bring 1 hell bring one too! (were gonna be in two cars following each other). I know scoring some in the states isint impossible, but were gonna be pretty far from civilization as were gonna be staying at a chalet. Were not huge pot smoker, but we really couldn't miss out on blazing outdoors there, they got really nice palce, its just beautiful! Anyway, so what i am really concerned about is dogs! I know i can easily pass the border, but if there are dogs, things will turn ugly! My friend isin't 18 yet, so is it best that he takes my stuff and his stuff so that if we get caught, we wont face as harsh punishement? What happens if ur caught and ur under 18? Any advice in general will be much appreciated. Thanks so much! And merry christmas!

You could have an ounce of weed in your pocket and cross the border no problem, well the Canada border anyway. Don't worry too much just throw it in something smellproof. Film canister?

wrapping it in pepper or putting it in peanut butter works the best for throwing k9s off

Small capsule and up the butt works for prison, and international border crossing. You could give that a shot.

Wrap it up in a rubber and swallow it.
You could swallow it right before you get to the border and throw it back up when you passed if you are squemish about catching it when you poo.

I would say u have about a 9 in 10 chance u WILL get caught. I have crossed many times and after my experiences I would never try it. Good luck.

He's gonna get busted. Less he is the po po. Already paranoid and your not even at the border. When u do get there, they're gonna know just by your paranoia, that something's up. Just enjoy your vaca, where you say your not even heavy smokers. Get a little tolerance back, for the inevitable vacation from vacation.

one time i went to montreal and got a bag of dank to smoke while i was there. it was so good that i just had to bring a sample home to smoke. soooo i took that last of the buds i had, stuffed em into an empty pack of gum stuffed another piece of paper inside crumpled it up and tossed it onto the floor of my car like garbage and cruised right on over the border. the border agent even said "welcome home".stupid, i know, but it worked.

Small quantity or not the US will view this as a serious crime. You are talking about risking your continued freedom for a gram of weed. Majorly bad idea, especially considering how bad the incarcerations facilities are getting (thanks privatization!)

It's way easier to bring weed Into Canada. I would NOT do it going to the states. They are. It fucking around, even with a gram of weed. When I went to Canada I said "damn I shoulda brought weed, that was easy!". When we came back it was more like "good thing I didn't bring any weed back home with me..." they will just for a gram wether your with family or not.

Lol you dont have to walk very far down the road before you find somebody trying to sell some pot. its in such high demand all around the world, im sure you would not have a problem finding a gram once you got there.

i'd roll up to the border smokin a J, but thats just me, you would probably be better off listening to one of these other guys

Bad idea crossing the border with weed, you obviously don't know what your up against and its not worth it. My buddy got busted with a roach in his ash tray that he didn't know he had in there and they xrayed his car and then they tore it apart and fucked it up. They found nothing...
