There is a book (on which the series Good Omens is based) in which all car music slowly mutates to Queen mixtapes. “The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O.” iirc, by Terry Pratchett and Neal Stephenson.I went to the Queen with Adam Lambert concert last year. We got the tickets for free and not being a Queen fan, I wasn't very enthusiastic about it. It's crazy how many songs I knew word for word and didn't even know they were Queen songs. It turned out to be one of the best concerts I've been seen.

I think the TV series featured the same device.
