6EA11EFE-B794-42D1-A955-613373CE5EE0.jpegFirst time growing and am nervous something is wrong. Does it look like there is an issue with my two northern legends? They are really bright green. Not sure if its and issue or just the way this strain is. Any help really Appreciated!

Probably ok, might look at your N.... see its enough. Also, make sure ph is good.

Just looks like a little stretch to me, you flip to flower recent?

At runoff ppm was 1700 if i was doing it right and i was giving them 6.5 ph filtered hose water. I also am following the fox farms nute schedule plus .5ml of cal mag. They’re currently wk 3 veg. Using a spider farm 2000 led 24” away

Maybe up your veg nute just a bit.

Out of curiosity, have you turned off your light in tent and looked at them under "regular" lighting? Reason I ask is plants under grow lights look more yellow than they are because of the added red spectrum. I notice it all the time.

Thats a good idea, ill check them out with the lights off. I have been trimming some of the bigger fan leaves. Should i trimm more? I didnt want to overdue it. I have the stems tied down. Was trying Out low stress training. thanks for you help! Much appreciated

How often should i foliar spray and when if the best time in your opinion?
I NEVER foliar spray. Too much risk with LED. it lenses and burns shit out of them everything everytime I try it.

As far as defoliation, I do it 2 weeks before flip to flower and again 4 weeks after. And I take quite a bit. However I don't take near as much on autos. One of 2 reasons I don't grow autos anymore.

Probably a bit overkill if your running that led at full tilt in veg.
I find 1/2 power is fine for veg.

Assuming they are photoperiods?

Anyway its not an N issue, if it were it would be yellowing from bottom up.

Okay! Ill stop foliar spraying. I was doing that 2-3 times a week

what type of soil do you use? For some reason im using mother earths coco perlite. Is that a decent medium? Or am i better off with fox farms stuff??

Photo periods are plants that flower based on light cycle. Autos flower after an amount of time and light cycle doesn't matter...mostly.

Autos are similar strains as photos but with a ruderalis gene.

I had this exact problem back in May, my PH was high I found out after using PH drops instead of the cheap PH pen.
My ph is a cheap pen from amazon. But idk it says 6.2 at runoff after i watered them. Does the bright green matter? After you corrected your PH problem did your plants darken up?

That's what mine was also .. junk. The bright green eventually started turning yellow and affected the whole top of the plant on the one i used as a test subject. After I dropped the PH going in to around 6.2 6.3 and done 2 flushes the plants started throwing nice darker green growth but the growth that went yellow stayed yellow. If i could have caught the issue a week earlier i may have saved the test plant.
