Patience grasshopper. Not enough amber yet...back away from the snips.Start of week 8. Not much change, though I suspect that the buds are slowly fattening up, but imperceptibly. Everything that was healthy last week is still healthy, and the burned buds & leaves are still burned. Here are the obligatory bud shots. Don't hold back in telling me they look bigger/fatter; my impatience needs to be subdued:

I've bumped up the dose of ACT I give them every other watering and they seem to be handling it fine. Trichome development seems stalled so I'm not sure what to make of that. Any advice or consoling words would be appreciated. Here's a shot of the trichs on a calyx I snipped off this morning:

I expect these ladies will go a full 10 weeks. Any thoughts?

What strain is this? they look about 2 + weeks from done to me. Lots of clear trichs, just sa couple red pistils says 2 weeks minimum to me. Withing any strain, you can find plants that go way longer than expected, especially Sativa doms.
Are you flushing (and checking the water ph?) I cant recall if you mentioned it earlier or not.
I'm organic, so allegedly, no need to flush. You agree?
All water and teas are pH'd to 6.5.
No need to flush. Your plants look great. Give them a little bit longer. Less is more in organics so think about cutting back the ACT's.
yes only if you have been adding liquid/powdered nutesI'm organic, so allegedly, no need to flush. You agree?
All water and teas are pH'd to 6.5.
So how much ACT do you recommend? Each plant is currently getting ~1 cup ACT with each 2 liter watering. It's a pretty strong tea. By cutting back the nutes, is your strategy to force them to use up their internal stores?
What is your ACT recipe?
I got to the point where I only made an ACT for a foliar spray. If I felt the soil needed it I would just apply some EWC or vermicompost on top of the pots and water it in and get the same outcome. Saved money and made my life quieter.
My ACT "recipe" is a work in progress since I just started going organic on this grow. Nettles, Dandelions, various blossoms and leaves as I walk through the forest, a handful each of forest humus and EWC, a couple of tablespoons each of molasses, kelp meal, fish bone meal and bat guano; run it through a blender with water, then fill out to 1 gallon with more water and bubble for 36-48 hrs. I've been putting a cup of this with 2 liters of water every other watering. Think that's too much at this stage?
You're no doubt correct. With the right organic soil mix there should really be no need to add much except as a top dressing.
