@Serva May I ask you a better photo of your fixture? I am interested on how you secured strips
I have done it diffrent ways... which one do you mean?
I have panels with a wooden frame and panels with alu frames (post #6 of my thread) and air contact. Both just use 2x self-tappers to mount the strips to the frame (left and right).

I used a really thin alu sheet, which was pretty flexible, and mounted the strips with thermal tape on the surface. On the other side of the sheet I mounted small c-channels crosswise (!), so it became a stiff board.

For my first panel I used c-channels and self-tappers (post #4 of my thread).
From my experience the 1ft strips are always twisted and when you mount them with screws to a channel, they never have good contact. So thermal tape was way better in this case.
But mostly I like alu tubes as frame (post #37 of my thread), self-tappers (which are also hidden in the tubes), and air contact for the strips (50-100% nominal current). Tubes, because I like to hide my wiring. Tubes are easily re-used 1-2 times, when changing your initial design.
If you are looking for a really clean build, you will need either a sheet or some tubes.

I was able to replace these 2x75w fl tubes with 50w EB strips (12x 1ft), because the light spread was way better.
