What's up guys I've done alot of reading on this site during the last year and bought all my genetics from BB. They've been under my MH for about 3 weeks now. I got dog kush, cheese surprise, Sour Kush x Deep Blue, and some og kush x casey jones.
Here they are just got the first male to show today:
Maybe u guys can give me some helpful advice with'em. They are in sunshine #4, 1000watt HID, and using the GO BOX(organic) fertilizer.

they all look good to me. happy leaves and happy roots can"t ask for to much more

not sure what that means, i believe it's a direct link to my journal. At least that's what it was when i clicked on other's B. As far as advice goes I just am paranoid being my first inside grow, and only my second grow, period. I am just OCD when it comes to my babies. I need to transplant. The roots u see are from the first male showing yesterday. My room is not big enough for all 16 plants i have in their right now. Do you think my plants will be ok with waiting until I find some more males before transplant? I don't have the fertilizer or pots to grow all of them in 3 gal pots, nor the money to buy any. I want maybe 9 girls out of the plants that are left. I have not switched to 12/12 yet was trying to wait till the 23rd. They are in 1gal pots now. I tore up that plant you see the roots on, just to see how far the tap root had gone down. It had not made it past the rapid rooter I germinated in yet. Mostly I am concerned aboout my transplant situation. Any helpful feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Just saw northern rebel's post. My gut agrees with him saying transplant, so I am going to drop them in their new 3 gal homes this weekend. Let them go for week, then flip to 12/12.

interesting, wonder how that works. i've got mine linked in my sig.

ideally you want to upcan the plants at least a week or so before you flip them to give the roots chance to expand into the new home, preferably longer but it's not possible sometimes. they'll be fine as they are til the 23rd, when you re home them gently break the rootballs apart a bit to help them along.

most folks worry this much their first couple of runs, in a few more you'll be like 'rootbound ?! naaa? lol'.

it's a fine balance working with reg pips and hoping for the right ratio of m/f. are you taking cuts to mother or just letting it roll?

I'm going to let'em roll. No cloning this time, and if i have any extra females i am going to let them veg outside while the others flower then move them in to the room to flower once I've harvested the first wave.

Here are the strains I'm working with:
1/ Dog (r)
2/ Cheese Surprise (r)
3/ Sour Kush x Deep Blue(r) Freebies
4/ OG Kush x Casey Jones (r) Freebie
all BB stock. Not real sure what is what anymore i lost track while germinating. What kinda growth should i plan for with a 1000w HPS, with organic nutes? Specifically will they double triple or is it going to be pretty random. I am itching to start flowering but i want the roots to get established in the final 3gal. pots i transfered them into a few days ago.They are around a foot tall on average at 1 month under MH. I did FIM all of them.

I always assume plants will at least double in size. Although some of the strains I run do not (like the Deep Blue). Dog is stretchy for sure. Blue Pits go big as do Dippy Ellsy's....and males always tend to be a bit taller than the females.

all looking nice n healthy still, are you planning on LST'ing them? if so now's the time i'd say.

I took a few pics of a few of my BB strains. I'm going to switch these to 12/12 in a few days, my tent is getting very crowded so I need to get rid of any males.

I think they are doing well given how little space they each get.

does look like it's getting crowded. sod's law dictates you'll get all females and be cramped. thin em out a little if needs be

I was going to try a scrog, but being I haven't flipped to 12/12 i still do not know what's male and what's female.I FIMed all of them and they are all showing signs of having extra branches. I think I saw some pistols yesterday but they were so small i really couldn't tell. I'm planning on at least tieing off a few branches to open the plants up once i'm sure what a female.

i gave your down south guy some cuttings mine finished rooting so i hope his did got him two fireballs and three alligator kushpicked up a 2010 dog, dog bx1, and extrema. smoked the dog bx1 and liked it better than the s1 i have smoked so far. i still have a pack of the bx2 also

Still getting my shit in order for this season. May have to run it indoors this summer with the new laws pending in my area.

2 CJ X OGK
3 Fireballs
2 Sour Cherry
5 Dog (all female)

Still thinking about popping 2 Blue Pits but I wanna see how many males of the other strains I get first. The 4 dogs are going to be light dep'd and one left out for the summer in a 15gal container that I will probably drop in the ground if laws go my way.

Update I think I'm going start flower now
