No problem with any balls that you had to pluck? I was a little nervous about that and was considering not running it n flower and just take a few cuttings from it. To lessen the chances of getting balls

They arent into flower yet, but flipping today or tomorrow.
I ran Dog before and had zero issues outdoor with balls hermies etc. If from seed and not clone be cautious and take the lowers at week 2 flowering

Cheers bassman she's a first gen clone of the one I ran from seed a while back. Smoke is good enough that I don't have any left so pumped to get her out of there tonight :) This is the "dirt" pheno, leaves a taste of dirt in your mouth on exhale, on inhale it's a kush/hashy flavour, tasty stuff. Very nice high, not over the top potency so you're functional but you know you're stoned. Energetic if anything, no couch lock or the like, can be smoked anytime of day and won't knock you out.

Only thing I haven't figured out with this pheno yet is the leaf tips go crispy dry and fade away. Same environment as I'm running another 8 strains, same medium and feed schedule initially. I even backed off to almost nothing for feeding this round and it's still doing it. Going to try water-only next time I run her and see if that helps. It looks like too much potassium but I'm hardly feeding it, she may just be finicky. The buds build up nice and tight and doesn't suffer in the smell or taste department, just doesn't end up looking as nice as my other girls. My girls have to have personalities, but they have to look good too! lol (OCD)

The taste of dirt is strange, but if you say still tasty then I am game.
Picky girls in my garden get treated the same usually nesp since I am running organic, cant do much to change it with a water only feed.

My Dogs are being Picky this run always looking down, but growth wasnt affected at all.
I forgot to stir my amendments before up-potting, the other strains have all bounced back, but Dogs still have discoloration. Up-potting once more today then flowering. Thy are drinking down the 3gal cloth pots dry in less than a day. Vegged too long waiting for me to order tent and now waiting for it to arrive.
Didnt plan for a scrog this time and dog might go crazy and get too tall in flower

Mine 3 yrs ago had gas and burned rubber smell taste and super head high, fox tailed and white with frost outdoor. I think she was so stressed from the sun and black garbage can heating roots she morphed. All the leaves were taco'd throughout flower

Yeah it's a weird combo but still like it, I've heard others mention the dirt taste on some phenos. If you're running the regs who knows, could end up with something different. Haven't run enough of them to know what the differences are.

Funny your DOG sounds much like the couple I ran, nice smoke but the pheno that made it to flowering had tiny buds (lots of them, just small) and was really finicky throughout veg + flower so I let it go. I have a bunch of them and have seen some killer looking phenos so I'll eventually get back to the hunt. Mine stretched like a mofo btw.

The ones from outdoor yrs ago were a bitch to trim, but ultimately yielded like a MOFO, one of my most requested strains to date. I hoe I get a similar one, had strong smell taste and high, not to mention long shelf life.

Maybe I should tie these ones down to try to control height. 5ft tent FFS
