But my thing is you Still have to Load and Unload that mixer. Why not just have a big pile and use a shovel to just flip it... I don't know I just personally feel that compost bins and mixers end up being More work for me in the end. Remember Work is good for you its exercise... Just remember to keep Good Posture and keep that back locked!

Obviously you have never used a mixer, they unload themselves by tilting the drum down. You just need something to catch the mix in. Loading it takes about the same effort as loading a wheelbarrow or dumping it in a big pile.

Just as obvious is you've never mixed 2-4 cubic YARDS daily, which was work enough WITH a mixer and would leave no time for transplanting if you tried it with shovels. We had a 5cf mixer and the components came by the dumptruck load.

All this was to keep a SoFl horse track full of flowering annuals. They lasted a week or so before the sun burnt them up and they were replaced.

$200 vs a sore back? No coontest.
