It was still under investigation. They were TOLD, initially, that the protest was related to the attacks. They didn't come to that conclusion, hence the investigation.

carney's ramblings (carefully scripted and planned though they may be) gave me the distict impression that the whitehouse was laying the blame for all the violence in sandland that day at the feet of the shitty imovie producer and his lame video.

ban ki moon sure made the same view and he made it plain and clear, the video was a bad thing, and the first amendment should have exemptions for speech which may be considered "hurtful" to a bunch of wackadoo savages who cant stop killing each other long enough to drag themselves out of the 12th century.
