nah just a joke...

but on the serious side...

My Mom and Dad (dad is retired navy) (Mom retired teacher) were voters in WA FOR MMJ legalization but only due to how well they new it worked on me and how harmless this is compared to all the other crap I have been on for pain..

(also had the entire rest of the fam who live there vote for it as well) but my folks were just down in CA in Oct and it's been a year since I saw them and about 6 mo's since I have been on my legally prescribed pain narcotics.. so that had not seen me in about 22 years not on the rx meds.. both said it was the best condition they have seen me in about 10 years..

So from what my understanding is on this so far is that in WA you must be a legal 21 year old resident to purchase and in CO you must be alive and a 21 year old. (all purchased from a dispensary or grown at home?)

Correct?

From my understanding, once our Governor signs the measure (next 30 days) anyone over 21 can legally posess up to 1 ounce of cannabis and grow up to 6 plants. The State will begin looking into licensing and regulating cannabis shops over the next year, so no coffee shop type stores until at least January of 2014. The US Attorney's office has already piped up and reminded us that marijuana is still a schedule 1 drug in their eyes. I'm curious if the feds are going to even allow this to get off the ground?
