Breaker Box sufficient for 1k Light?

I was thinking of running a 1k hps and some T5 for Veg. My question is, is my box enough for this? Need to know before I start investing. Thanks

that's some old electrical wiring you;ve got there. you need 10 amps just for the hps and then more for the other lights, fans, etc.

read the amperage of the fuse for the circuit to your grow room. add up the amps from everything else on that circuit. if the total added amperage is lower than the fuse you are ok. if not, you need a new circuit or to move some of the devices to a different circuit.

So if it says 15 and 20amp on the fuse then I can run

you should be ok on the 20 amp circuit but the 15 amp circuit is going to be close, especially if you have other appliances on it

Maybe even drop it down to 600w? I dunno if I want to do that...yield reasons go figure. But I suppose if If i had too. Ill be doing it in an attic and Im wiling to bet those are 15amps on the second floor

See ive been wondering stuff like this to. Im trying to do a 1000wat hps and 600w mh. but i dont know if it will work with an inline fan in each of em and the other odds and ends like small oscilating fans and such.not trying to steal the thread but would a breaker be able to handle all of this to? it would be in the basement if that helps....cant find out what amp it is cause im overseas with the army right now and wont be back for a while now.

ahh blazedwun you dont even know how much i want to smoke one again but hey its my job and part of the thigns i have to do is not smoke so thats alright.but im willing to grow once i get back home jsut not smoke.....as much.lol need to help out them friends and fam of mine its all dry out there ya know. that and growing seems like to much fun!
