as soon as a clone gets cut does it go under lights or into darkness and how long is this term. I know that it needs 18 on 6 off but is that as soon as it gets cut? Thanks for your help budz

They need humidty and 18/6. With out humidity the plant will have no source of water. The roots will kick in anywhere from 6-14 days. 90-95 % humidity.

lights are very important, i use a 24 hour cycle for clones especially if they are pulled off a plant that was just turned to flowering, but yeah 18/6 regardless, you dont need much light, a few floro tubes or a couple cfl's will do the trick, i have cloned under a 600 hps with no problems but you have to keep in mind that you want to keep them real far away from the light as to much will dry them out quick

cool thanks
does it take long before they start to perk up? 12 hours in and they look pritty soft is this normal?
i've got them about 6 inches under 2 t5's in a dome beside a space heater on low and big bowl of watter to help with humidity.

Do you have a heater pad? Put the dome on top of a heater pad with some water int he bottom of dome and the humidity will get up there fast. Make sure you allow some air like 5% first week then 10% until rooted well.

Roots are attracted to heat and also cause humidity so it's a win win.
so I went to canadian tire and it was about to close so I hurridly bought a heating blanket.Well what I thought I was gettin was a heating pad (for my clones)that it was a pad inside the blanket that I could remove and put it under the tray....what I got was a blanket with a bunch of wire that runs zig zaged all the way threw the blanket lol fuck fuck fuck hahaha so now I'm gonna fold the blanket up lay the tray on top of the folded blanket(with wires) and god dammit they will be the most comfortable clones anybody has ever seen!!!.Maby the extra pampering will help them root hahaha do ya think it will work??taker easy budz
