Brand new 630 air cooled cmh set up, what do you all think

There was a buy it now option.... for 459.99 but it vanished... I'm going to wait till its on its last day and grab it, What do you think about that Unit, The Ballast is the ONLY 630 square Wave Ballast i have seen, I Saw one with two ends, but thats for a double bulb option, This has that Growers choice bulb, but its a 4000k.

That is bad ass, Maybe once i get this light up and going, ill hook up my 1k solistek to one of those bad boys and do a side by side for flower

I messaged that ebay store and he said that it was the only fixture that has this ballast. The manufactorer he works with made this due to his specifications, which i find hard to believe but he sent me a list of ballasts, and I must say I'm impressed.

Interesting, One of the few i respect here has moved over to COB LED's. He's very happy!
Now for me, I'm interested in COB's but LED tech changes so fast, like every 6 months....
That CMH is cool but, I might look at all the differing CMH units out and find what is the best right now. Last I knew it was the 320's.

Now you have me interested enough to poke around myself.

Well this Cmh bulb i found is 2 315's in one, Plus ive heard that due to the CMH having a high amount of UV in its spectrum, Essential oil production has increased by 55%, thats why some growers say there getting 1.3-1.6g per watt, which is redic. Funny enough when I had no clue about lights, I jumped on two 300 Watt ViparSpectras which are 177 true watts each, not bad for $100 but now i use those in my veg, and ima drop two 630's in a 5'4" x 6'7" x 9' space, Should be over kill but i'll have Mirrors set up and a dbl trellis, 4 plants in each square of the room room split into 4 sections

If bidding hits a certain price (reserve) it can disappear. Ask the seller to list a buy it now If they have multiples Im sure they will.

I've been looking everywhere, that explains it, Thanks for the Info, I'll shoot them another message, I should have just asked him when i was asking about the ballast specifications.....

2 things here.

1: I've done the UVB thing in several ways - that 55% is a rather large overstatement! Especially in relation to CMH UV spectral output! You would do better by using Eye Hort T5 deep Blue UV bulbs as riders on the sides of you hoods or just hanging them as supplemental lighting - Lots of guys going to those around here!

2: Grams per watt is rather meaningless in my book.....Someone who knows SOG can destroy the Gram per watt thing and get over 3 per if they do it right! Besides, the average you posted is easy with the right stains. Dude, there are starins that will NEVER hit even 1 per - no matter what light you use...

Yea. this is a realization I have made, Def got to get it more dialed in, Thanks Dr. Who, Mirrors are a BAD idea.... lol Google is amazing

So I hit the dude up, they said they are a new store, he also gave me a link for the lights, Kinda a bummer they were listed at $449 with free shipping now they are $459.

I guess i cant complain, as this is the ONLY ballast i can use for those damn DE CMH 630 watters. Due to its Low Freq Square wave and its a single plug. He also said they have a dual plug bulb, but i got two of the 630's on there way! should be here by late fri or next mon! Ill post some pics when get em.
