Sorry bro.
To answer your question...I'd take him in under the condition he signs over power of attorney..when the worst happens, you can rebuild your life with insurance money...money you will have spent to support them..
Slip the oil to him.

Im very sorry to hear your news but please try to be positive. 7 years is quite a good amount of time to try to get on top of it. Other members such as Giggles /winterwoman can advise you on this particular cancer.

You need to try and do as much as possible for him. Mine both died of cancer and I don't reproach.

As for the wife, what happened to in sickness and in health? If you can't trust her, then you need to try and become POA.

Good luck and stay strong. Winter woman had a thread about a friend who recovered with the oil so maybe print up some research and show it to him.

Good luck bud. Seems to me the step mom needs to grow up and become less selfish- your old man has 7 years left and she's like "what about me?!?" Your dad needs those that love him around so that he can get better.

Anyway, you're at the right place- sounds like the oil pills people have been talking about may be a great call. Who cares if it's weed or not- your old man needs to step up and try alternative medicines.

I think assisted living down the line and having some of these kind folks help you address the issue with your dad taking pills sound like good options to start with. Good luck.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, mine died from a brain tumour and as time goes on you have to be very strong as things get tough and very upsetting. If your step mum is going to leave it would be better she did it now so you dad can get used to the fact she's gone, before he has to deal with the symptoms of his brain tumour. This will leave you I'm afraid to take the brunt of whats to come and I'm truly sorry for you as its not a nice thing witness. Its hard o get anyone to try a drug they don't approve of and I'm sure some of the people on here will do their upmost to help you, I wish you well and hope everything works out for you and your family.

How do you get someone who has been against the cheeba their whole life to smoke in the end? and convenience them that it is their savior? The kind of person that would call your evidence BS
You send him to this website:
http://www.gwpharm.com/r-and-d.aspx

You then send him to the government trials website (https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=Sativex&Search=Search, also this URL https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=sativex+glioblastoma&Search=Search), so he can see they are using it on Glio's and other things. If his Neurosurgeon told him he has 7 years he needs a new one of those too. Make SURE he reads up on Sanjay Gupta's turn around on Cannabis and his statements on governmental malfeasance surrounding it.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this with your dad.

Best idea yet! Normally I wouldn't condone such a thing, But if ignorance and years of brainwashing is the obstacle you must overcome, this might be a great plan of action, or last resort if anything. I wouldn't watch my dad Die because he was being stubborn. I would roofie his ass everyday!

yeah alot of people even in my generation think weed fucks your brain up

i mean more people in my generation still smoke more weed then kids in the 70s but alot of them are brainwashed by there parents who are brain washed or just ignorant

what we need to tell our kids is:

yes it does help you when your sick or feeling down and its a good thing but it makes you lazy and eat alot or does the opposite but makes you paranoid with deep thought

i mean its the summed up short answered truth the only way we can have total legalization or at least tolerance to people who use MMJ is to tell our children the truth about it and not the propaganda thats widely false
