It seems like the majority of people use 62% packs. Does anyone know of any benefit or draw back to using a higher RH? I have lots of 69s and 72s that i use (depending on the time of year) for my cigars. Its no big deal to go buy some 62s, but I've already got plenty of 69 and 72.
Less mold possibility, not to mention the higher leaves it wetter than most want to smoke it. 69 and 72 are are where cigars are at their best, not weed.

That's exactly what I wanted to know, thanks. I've never stored any for more than a few weeks before.
 
Even after you dry properly if you just throw it in jar without anything and leave it the rh will jump.. The boveda packs will either add or remove moisture to keep it at 62
Yeah its a two way humidity pack. adds moisture or absorbs it, dunno how it does that but its cool. I just ordered some to try.
