Day 49
Day 25 of Flowering
Change to 11 Hours Light - 13 Hours Dark
I'm leaving town early Monday morning and won't be back until Saturday morning. I normally water my plants with 13 oz. of water every 3 days. Tonight, I watered them with about 23 oz. of water each. Some of it is pooling in the collecting trays. I cut out pieces of cardboard and put them over the soil. I figured this will block some light from hitting the soil, which will keep it cooler, and slowing down evaporation.
I also decided to change my lighting to 11 hours light - 13 hours dark. I am leaving town for a while 4 weeks from today. This will be day 53 of flowering, which is a little less than 8 weeks total. Some have said that increasing the dark period may speed the plants up just a bit. I understand that my yield may decrease slightly but I'd rather have less and harvest at the right time. We'll see how it turns out. Any suggestions for completing the flowering process a bit quicker?
