bought me a coconut

Coconut water is like celebrity miracle juice lol.

When I was in Trinidad we had a palm tree with 'Chinese' coconuts; they don't have too much jelly in them, but plenty of water. I don't really like dried coconut, it's only the jelly I'm after which you get in the green ones. Which are TT$5-7 each. I love watching them cut open the top and make a little spoon out of some of the husk before they give it to you.

That was my job every day, chopping the coconuts and putting all the water in the fridge for my grandma every day. With my size I guess I looked kind of funny going nuts on them with a machete.

You could make coconut drops with them :3 Just flour, butter, sugar, a shitload of vanilla and nutmeg and throw some raisins in there for good measure.

i love dried coconut... when i turned ten my grandma made me a pink strawberry bday cake covered in coconut... fond memories, we accidently cut it into the shape of nebraska as we were serving peices of cake... the irony is both sides of my family are from nebraska

i just worry about going to the post office and asking how much postage to put on there. or should i just throw a few stamps on and see if the mailman takes it LOL. I can put the address label right on the coconut too.
