To seal the ceacks, consider using the seal stuff for doors and window ac units. Looks like you are off to a great start. The warping from humidity may not be an issue if that wood is sealed from the manu. I use to work for a company in shelby, ohio and we made things that looked a lot like those. We sealed them to so you never know ehh?? Mylar or paint.... hard decision, personally i would paint it, wally world has spray paint that is very reflective but mylar is mylar and works good. Good luck, and now I am reconsidering my DWC Cooler I created....

isn't it tho... I saw it at Goodwill and thought that this is fate. I plan to put pad locks on both doors so maintnence (who is already pretty cool) can't just walk in and investigate. I plan to do my first grow with my 150 watt HPS from seed. Once I establish a good mother I plan to clone it and set up a few small CFLs in the bottom to root them for about a month. Then movem back up. I plan to do a grow journal and am very excited. Anymore tips?

dont make it to obvious your hiding somthing. and thats a sweeeeeeet cab wish i had one looks more pleasing than a huge black and green tent lol. make a journal please!.

as for a lock, Any type of lock suggestions?

I was thinking of a small pad lock where the joint meet. I don;t think it would be too obvious do you?

I think htgsupply's website is down for a few weeks so you will have to call them to make your purchase

go to a locksmith and tell them you have a cabinet you want to lock up with concealed cabinet locks, then, nobody really sees the lock, and your shit is protected,I used to be a locksmith, its the best bet for security and lock concealment.
