Hey RIU,
Just wanted to share a good find with everyone: EBAY has large grow tents for sale that are a really good deal in comparison with other sites who are selling very similar products. I just bought one that I'm going to either put in my backyard or on a balcony :hump:

It hasn't arrived in the mail yet but I'll update this thread with more information when I receive it

Heres the link to the tents on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-12-X-7-X-7-LARGE-OUTDOOR-GREENHOUSE_W0QQitemZ390178599720QQcategoryZ0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m506QQ_trkparmsZalgo=RPSI%2BNGRI&its=I%2BC%2BS&itu=UA%2BUCP%2BMAGEXP&otn=20&po=&ps=63&clkid=8966705628321767975

Happy growing!

I totally will when I get it

From the picture, I can see that it has a long trim around the bottom so it could theoretically be weighed down by large rocks on the trim so it would stay put through wind. This is what I need because my area can get very windy!

hmm. do u think pests could get in from under those flaps?
Well, I guess there is a chance but it would depend on how secure the greenhouse is as well as if it comes with ground covering material...man, I hope it gets here tomorrow

edit: it doesn't come with any ground covering material but you could just put a tarp down and duct tape it or something...

Sooo I set up the damn thing and reinforced it with some rocks and rope but this crazy storm blew through the night of and tore my greenhouse out of here. I found the thing caught on a tree on my property with tears and bent metal.

I'm going to say that was a waste of money for me but it could have easily been my fault for not strapping it down more.

If you live in a not so windy environment, this will be the greenhouse for you.

load of fucking shite anyway mate . why use a outside tent if you going to grow outside anyway
Where I live, my yard is completely visible to a main road and many homes. I didn't want anyone to see/be tempted to steal what I was growing in the greenhouse but I still wanted to use natural sunlight in order to save money on electricity. That's why.

did u turn a light on in the tent at all. i was thinking about ordering a tent from there as well and im worried the reflective plastic inside is cheap and gets really hot or if it produces any gases or smells when the light is on for a long time. any answers to those Q's would be a great help thanks

Well, for the time I had it up, it did get rather hot inside the tent. I then pulled up the 6 side vents and then it was a comfortable temp along with a slight breeze
