Bought a Cabinet off a yard sale for $5 //Need help from the community (NEW GROWER)

Hey guys, I am a new grower, I need stealth. I live with my parents and they know I smoke so they wouldn't care as long as it does not smell and guests don't see it.

So I just got this cabinet off a yardsale for $5





Is that a good sized cabinet for growing 1 plant?

I would also need help with soil/nutrients/lighting.

If someone can give me a good site on where to buy autoflower seeds, that would be appreciated.

it looks about 2 feet including the legs and pretty square, from what i can see.
http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/ has a lot of autoflowering seeds.
check out 'low stress training' if youre not already familiar with it because that might be a good option for non-autoflower seeds and making the most of your space.

I would advise reading around a bit first, but to be fair to you you didn't ask for every detail posted. If you look in the newbie section of the forum there are some really useful stickies there! They explain lighting cycles of 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flower ect. as it would be pretty pointless to re-post.

You seem to know a lot about this, any supplies I should check out? Good lights, good fans? soil?

I am doing my best but I figured I could save time by asking the community, I have already gathered lots of useful information by reading other people's stealth grows.

my knowledge is still limited as far as supplies go, still researching myself.
i could advise using cfls to keep your growing space cool. i have a small box myself thats roughly the same size. i have 3 27 watt 100 watt eq. cfls in my box.
for intake/outtake fans, you could always use something as simple as an old PC fan or 2 and any 12 volt adapter available. this is what my box looks like:


this was my first grow and i soon found out there was no way all those plants were going to fit so try not to repeat my mistake. :leaf:

With that cabinet I'd look into CFL's. Don't put them at the top, put them on the side. Also, depending on how many pots youll use, you can always cut the hole at the bottom so you have more space for the actual plants instead of pots.

If your parents don't mind, I would look at saving up for a tent or "Pantry Cabinet" from Walmart for 50-90 dollars. For now, experiment with this. I was in the same boat but soon found out how much I wanted a bigger space. Google or search, "DIY PC grow box." If you need any more help feel free to PM.

you might have trouble cooling anything other than CFLs or LEDs without making the noise of a Tasmanian devil
