Bottom Leaves turning black/brown

well I haven’t seen a difference from watering either way, I find watering from the bottom promotes root growth towards the bottom of the pot, I’m watering from the top on this feed to aerate with peroxide, but I like to water from the bottom to make the roots search for water, instead of just spreading around the top, because once they have hit the water source, they will spread through the pot, and the more roots I get the better, but I want to make sure mine get down there, because that will promote large growth and extra oxygen into the roots because of air exposure. Thinking a little more I will want to watch for root rot and mild on the exposed roots.

What kind of soil are they in? Did you mix in extra perilite? Could be a drainage issue?
I attached a pic of the soil I'm using. I haven't added anything extra so far just water is all I've given no nutrients/fertilizer anything. How do I go about setting up a better drainage system all I know about that is having wholes in the pot for the roots to breath. As far as that goes I may have no drainage at all.

I would suggest 3% peroxide, and then figure out the ratio of peroxide to water for how much you use to water, it will aerate the soil, add oxygen to the water, and also eliminate dead roots, and fungus.

I'm a beginner as well but I know roots need oxygen. When you go to re pot, maybe try something like some fox farm happy frog and mix in a little extra perilite. I'm just speculating though dude, don't quote me on anything. It's really hard to diagnose anything from just a few pics
