Not too big for it's age. It's a shorty by genetics. I've been giving it well water which is usually between 6-7 ph. This thing doesn't drink much the leaves are perked up at 5 and 6 days without water so I'm always hesitant to water it. I've been watering at 5 days even though it doesn't look like it needs it.

I used great white. I'm still not sure about when to water it because the soil gets dry within a couple days but the leaves don't droop and plant looks healthy even a week after watering.

when transplanting, you dont have to wet the whole medium. i'm guessing you watered the whole gallon of soil til run off? or til it was wet? might have been too much for the roots to handle. just, when transplanting in the future, especially if its hot soil, just water up to where the rim of the rootball/old soil is. and each watering, water a little more outwards. And i'd recommend using recharge. it makes plant growth explode and helps with deficiencies. since using, my plants dont even have much of a down phase when i transplant.
