Botrytis under microscope

Looks like it. I just tossed a whole tent of that looked like that which tore it for me. I thought would be impossible to not accidently consume it and learned to toss everything anyway. I may be wrong but it looks like what I just got done dealing with.

There’s nothing visible to the bare eye, i took lots of pics of the plant and just saw this seems it’s just starting , will have to cut it early.

Yeah, I’m with @HydoDan that it most often presents as grey-ish mold. I’ve never bothered to view microscopically before as I'm usually mumble swearing while chopping it all off.
Another tell tale is leaf discolouration in the bud. If you spot a leaf protruding from the bud that looks off colour, give it a tug. If it slides right out, you got yourself botrytis. Hack it out.

It grew little spots like that everywhere along with advanced infenction like shown. The little ones made me realize its everywhere and cant even pick it out safely. Botrytus is scarier than I thought. I got PM too. A big mold problem. It grows easier than l ever thought only had it one other time thought it was my fault.
The first time was over crowding and high rh but last time changed everything I knew about botrytus.

I can see a difference between your pict and mine, in my case the web starts in the trichome head and ends almost always in another trichome head(weird), in your case i can observe the hypahe conidia with a cluster of spores, it’s like a trich but the stalk ends with a cluster of spores.

Used to have the same like you and was never sure. You are right, trichome-trichome conection is strange. I was thinking if its just a resin conected when drying and trimming, but than it would have to be almost on every bud from all growers.

Ive never seen anything like that until my last grow, I wouldnt chance it. I had some mold in it looking like tricomes too just a real bad run. Ive consumed deficient buds but nothing with weird stuff growing in it.

I've been incorporating LalStop/PreStop into the growing medium for a few years, then foliar application of B. Bassiana.
Colonizes the seedlings, give them some resistance to PM and Botrysis.
It wiped out the endemic fusarium in the outdoor garden, limited the spread of any botrysis on the outdoor grow.
C. rosea has traits enabling competition for resources and space, and interference competition through antibiosis, in addition to its mycoparasitic ability (Sutton et al., 1997; Fatema et al., 201
. Its endophytic ability allows for establishment in plant organs close to potential pathogen entry points (Saraiva et al., 2015), and will in some cases result in activation of inducible plant defence responses (Kamou et al., 2020; Wang et al., 2019) leading to induced systemic resistance (ISR) (Lahoz et al., 2004).

Thing is that i have not chopped the plant yet, it’s a long flowering sativa (Hawaiian Snow), 2 weeks to got still

Currently in dark light cycle, i’ll take some shots later, but definetly nothing to the bare eye, here some more shots of trichs, lot’s of milky ones but 60% of white hairs still.

Yea as people think its only dead tissue but its also live tissue as shown. That was the first one I spotted hence the severity but I cut it out with a few more smaller spots. Pushed through few more weeks just steady clipping out mold lint ball size then eventually what OP is showing.
Idk what else that coule be. When I saw that I didnt think it was safe to harvest would likely miss a lot of spots. Grow lights are bad for eyes too even though they barely show enough to see things like this. I hope its not for OPs sake but idk what else could be.
Then I got pm so I already knew what was going to happen to the rest of plants that already got pm within days. Mold is a B.

Unfortunately Iam pretty much a pro when it comes to budrot I fight it every yr outdoors But have never had it indoor. Sounds like you need to lower the rh an start a solid IPM plan Pm is a bitch if let unchecked.

Never passed 50rh 45rh average but I am guilty of no circulation so Im growing small air brushed plants. Yield isnt priority but getting anything period. Build back up. I never had such fat nugs that had water droplets inside them. Just one infection Id toss it now.
I watched it grow in just little lint balls here and there and thought ok just keep the less dominant growth. Then it started doing this like OP and said aw hell. Im using box fans for canopy fans lol. I may be screwed for a while need a complete redo of the grow room or Il blossom like a butterfly.
