Botanicares Cal-Mag plus..........This seems crazy!!

According to the bottle it says Accelerated systems use 10ml per gal, which means I need 2000ml!!!! That's just about half a Gallon. Even at have strength that's still a quart 20$ just dumping in a system. What do you guys think? Im pretty sure I have mag. def. I bought a gallon of this stuff now I just need to figure out how much to add. Thanks for viewing

that is a ton of nutes, epsom salts are a good source of magnesium and sulphur. I typically spray it but you can use it in the root zone as well. Just be careful. Too much mag is bad news. I might post a few pics so we can see the severity and see if you require that dosage.

The aggressive feeding is for people that are using RO systems or they are over-driving their plants with a high PK booster. You genereally want to have 200-400 PPM of calcium and magnesium in your water before you add your base nutrients

So with that said, you will only need to add as much as needed in your water (you have hard water, do not use as much). The best tool you can use is a TDS,PPM, or EC meter. EC is the most accurate reading, but there is not a "cookie cutter" formula becuase there are many different water sources and many different strains that react differently.

Rule of thumb: 5 ml of CAL-MAG PLUS during veg to early flower, and 7-10 ml during middle to late flower. Hope this helps! -Cheif

thanks for the help. here is some more info....my tap water is 30ppm ( is this my problem)that's it. I have the blue lab guardian meter. last night I changed the water and added 600ml of 35% h2o2, then I added cc bloom A and B and cc bud booster my nute strength right now is 650ppm or .9 ec *(why is it more accurate). PH - 6.0 Still need to figure out how much to use?..........so you think I should add it slowly until it reaches 300ppm higher that would make my nutes sit at 950 , kinda high I think

The plants are also nitrogen deficient. Cal mag has nitrogen. Green up a bit. I don't know the strain or the needs of water culture so it hard to give advice for ppms.

I use master blend 4-18-38 npk
Calcium nitrate 15.5-0-0
Magnesium sulfate I.e. epsom salt
12 grams mb
12 grams CaNO8
6 grams epsom salt for 5 gallon mix..
The tomato fertilizer has all the micro nutrients needed and the ppm is pretty consistent. Just keep an eye on your ph and add fresh water as needed. . Keep track of the added water. . When you reach 2/3 water...wash reservoirs and then start fresh.... flush with straight water for last two weeks of flower....
Hope that helps...oh and my ppms are as high as 1200. ..during flower due to bumping nutes to 15g. 15g. 7.5g. no problems ever they love it

What nutes are you using? They look nitrogen def to me. Mag def looks different than that. Add more nitrogen and a bit of cal mag.
