Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom (front 2.5-3-5, back 2.5-2-5) 7.0% Humic Acid? Error?

Hey all,
I picked up this bottle of Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom. There were 2 different bottles of it on the shelf, I assumed one was newer or something. The one I ended up getting is screwy though. I'm 99% sure this is actually the hydro version, I'm growing in soil but there were a couple of things that really caught my attention on this particular one. On the front it says for an NPK "2-3-5", but on the back it says:

-------------------------------------------
Guaranteed Minimum Analysis

Total Nitrogen (N) 2.5%
2.5% Water Soluble Nitrogen
Available Phosphate (P2O5) 2.0%
Soluble Potash (K20) 5.0%
Calcium (Ca) 1.0%
Magnesium (Mg) 0.5%

Non-Plant Food Ingredients

7.0% Humic acid derived from leonardite.
-------------------------------------------

The humic acid was a big part of why I chose to buy it. It all seemed kinda screwy, but it fit what I was looking for pretty well (and more), whether the phosphate was 2.0 or 3.0. Has anyone else out there encountered this, and/or figured out what's really in the bottle? I used the contact form on their web site, but I haven't got an answer yet. The analysis they have posted on their web site says it has 3.0% phosphate and only .15% humic acid. That would certainly be disappointing.

Hrm... Does it say

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A premium one-part organic plant food to be used in soil container gardens or soilless hydrogardening applications.

Directions
Soil Container Gardens
Use Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro Soil 1.5-4-5 when growing in soil.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those are the only directions it lists for soil container gardens lol, to use another product altogether. Also, did you get your bottle recently or have you had it a while? I'm assuming its a newer one because they only had 2 bottles of the other kind on the shelf and probably 12 of these.

Yeah, mine says that but also has instructions for hydro. I buy it in 2.5 gallon containers and my container is about 8 months old. The dosing is way off though. You'll only need 5-7mls of flower formula per gallon during all of flower.

Weird, my flowering formula says 1-4-5 and on the front in does say for soil and coco, mine only has .35% humic acid.

Yeah that's HUGE humic acid, I wish they would respond to my Email. I'm not sure I believe there's really 7.0% humic acid. They would make you buy an entirely separate bottle for that, it seems like...

in case you guys are still wondering. pure blend pro comes in both a hydrogarden formula (NPK 2-3-5) and a soil formula with less N and more P (NPK 1-4-5). I use both but would definately not recommend the hydro version in soil. I do however use the soil version in hydro in the last 4 weeks of flowering to reduce N content.

Hi,
I like this product as well. Using the bloom/veg and karma. Does anyone have advice on the feed schedule? It comes with one but I think it's off.

Pro Blend Bloom is for a recirculating hydroponic system in bloom, Pro Blend Soil is for a drain to waist hydroponic, soilless mix or soil garden, and Pro Blend Grow is for all systems in veg. They recently changed/tweaked the mix but your bottle should read 2.5-3-5 and does contain 15% Humric Acid. As for a feed schedule I recommend using the full schedule from there web site for your levels, and remember when using supplements like Liquid Karma use 25% less base nutes.
