botanicare cal-mag plus & ginormous = chunkeyness?

I have been experimenting with different nutrients lately, and have just switched to the humboldt nutrients oneness program. I am not using their sea cal and sea mag though, i am using botanicare cal-mag plus. I have noticed that when the cal mag and the ginormus (a bloom/bloom booster) are mixed the solution becomes a white chunky substance. Is this safe for my plants?? it does not look safe. Im wondering if its the synthetic chelates in the ginormus messing things up or if i am fine.

Any ideas, advice, criticism is welcome.

It happens both ways. I first noticed the chunks floating around in the water. I then, threw the process of elimination discovered it was the calmag and ginormous. I have been using these nutes for almost a week now, and have not seen any negative effects, but am worried about my girls.

It sounds like the minerals are bonding and falling out of solution, though that shouldn't happen when added to water. I use calmag with no issues, but you might want to check to see if humboldt has a calmag that works better their other product.

It is definitely a bonding of minerals. And when suspended they should separate again?? I have been having to mix my solution very vigorously to get the particle size down but it still does not feel right. i will go and get the humboldt cal and humboldt mag, though i still have most of a gallon of the botanicare. thanks for the advice.

by the way- that purple urkle grow is beautiful.
