Someone else please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think his Green Crack is just an s1.

Two others offer this same thing (Sickmeds and Riot), and I've posted a grow report on it.

The report says pretty much anything anyone would ever want to know about this (and has nice pictures, if I do say so myself), but if you're too lazy to read it all, I'll give you the nickel summary:

-Sickmeds version costs 1/3 that of Riot and Swerves (if you can find the beans. . .they usually sell out). IMO its insane for anyone to pay $20/bean for what amounts to an unworked S1 of one of the most widely distributed "clone only" strains out there, but that's the retail asking price here.

-The thing likes to go purple. . .yeah. . .weird. . .but it does.

-Pheno variation is high; do NOT expect to get the same overall nice structure and fast flowering time as the "clone only" in se-ed form, but so far as I can gather most of the phenos do give the characteristic mango/melon green crack scent/taste. Mine did.

-My particular pheno had great bag appeal and taste, but mid-level potency, and low yield. Flowering time was pretty short, though. You take
your chances here.

-Personally, I didn't see even one nana, so I guess that's a "plus". I've seen a few reports of nanas, though, so I wouldn't entirely discount the possibility here.

Bottom line, if appearance and flavor are the most important things to you, then this one is a winner. If you want to find something like the clone only in se-ed form, don't expect that, unless you're willing to go through a whole bunch of packs to find it. If you need high potency and/or yield, pass.

For the money it will cost me ill pass....unless its for the sickmeds pack. I would assume swerve just s1ed it but something might be dif here seeing it took 2 years.maybe bad batches like what happened with the affie and blue dream haze. Lol

That's a pretty sparse description, and it omits more than it tells, I think. He mentions appearance, yield, and flowering time, but not potency or flavor. I've also never heard any description of either the clone only or the S1 being "skunky", so that's a bit odd too.

No mention whatsoever on how he bred this, which to me is a gigantic red flag. Especially since there are two other S1s on the market, if he actually "worked" the line for two years you'd think he'd have been eager to say so, at the very least to differentiate his product from the others. The strain is also absent from his website catalog. . .that's sort of odd for something he markets, even if he doesn't have any in stock.

Anyway, given the source, I think there is good reason to be skeptical. I think you're probably right and this is just a straight S1.

According to swerve them strain been done just didn't want to release it right after other strains so that way it's "looks" like a worked line. I remember green cracked and purple cracked along with the gs beans when I was a mod on c.c. and was told I would be getting some of those crosses.
