BoroMarket Question

Hey guys, I've recently been considering paying the $50 to join BM, I just had a few questions before I do. I don't have any friends who have a BM account, so I have no way of knowing what it's really like. I'm someone who doesn't usually spend more than $200 on a normal glass piece, and more on rarer occasions. I just tend to stay in that price range when buying simpler pieces, do people sell Glass bongs that are nice at that price range? And are there a lot of slides, downstems, and other accessories being sold? I just have no one to ask what the hell it's like on BM, someone please fill me in! Thanks! And if you can give me an idea of what people typically sell in that price range on BM that would really help me to get an understanding, I don't really know what the prices are for high quality admired ;) glass.

BoroMarket will typically sell "Kitty Glass" and up. My glass is on the low end of the quality spectrum there. Its mostly all heady, zero production or import pieces.

Most auctions are for $$ some are $$$ and a few can even get up to $1k-5k ranges depending on what is for sale.

Some concentrate dishes go for $300

Everything is pretty, and everything is perfect there.

About 1/4 of the glass is offered by the artist who made it. About 3/4 of the glass is resale/previously admired.

Its just a very weird place, with respect to bidding via message board.

So there's a lot of Dishes, Slides, Dabbers, and that sort of thing being sold? I don't know about about a $300 dish for me right now but I like the sound of BM. I'm mostly looking for heady stuff anyway, I have just heard a lot of Sov and Toro gets sold there, so I figured it must not all be heady.

If you have or are into low end production pieces, then I wouldn't even bother with BM. It's mostly Toro and SG and then a lot of really heady pricey stuff.

Well I'm not really into low end, more into buying from artists directly and I hear artists sell a lot on BM.

BM has pieces in every price range. You can get a nice pipe for under 100$ if you hunt around. That being said, most of the tubes are going to be above 300$ but a lot of times those tubes are still significantly marked down. I am a member, it's not really that much heady glass tubes, its scientific tubes. And you will see all sorts of brands and price ranges. It is well worth the 50 dollars if you plan on buying multiple pipes in your lifetime. It is modded very well too, there isn't any BS, and it is a respectful community.

Thanks, I think i'll join soon. I don't mind paying $300 or up if I think it's worth it. And I'm sure I can find stuff for cheaper if I stick around and hunt as you said. Thanks guys!
