bookshelf bubble?

im converting a bookshelf into my 2 section clone/veg on bottom and flowering mothers or mother on top
my question is would useing airstones and going the bubble method with an 11-inch wide tub or bucket of some kind or should i go with a different hydro method since i only have 11 inch wide workspace

You gave one dimension holmes, 11inch wide by what, how deep how long? it could be 11inch wide and the length of the shelf, 4' x11" if its that small it may be a pain to get the nutes and ph maintained as you may need to change water too many times for a DWC or bubbler if thats what your asking. If you give more dimensions it would help or a pic maybe

11 inch deep by 24 inch wide. the veg "bottom" is 26in tall and the top flowering sections is 38 1/2in tall
left 1 shelf in it to divide just sealed it with caulking so rather not move it now
should i paint it with some kind of stainer sealent? it just looks like some kind of laminent is on it
planning on using mylar/polywrap with a reflective tap afterwards
should i try and find a 11" wide bucket/tub at walmart or something and use bubbleponics or find a new method

first coat of white sealent on today
anyone kno any easier or better hydro systems
bubbleponics seems to be the best from what ive read
