so was gifted this by the "continental pot-pony express"..many know i like my psychedelic experiences,and they come in an array of substances to choose from,and if you have seen me on the end of a dmt pipe,you know im not worried about being spun..that being said,id like to split this with my wife,but shes a light weight when it comes to tripping..ive eaten hash,smoked half of morroco,and own stock in vector..but ive never eat bho..this packaged edible from my accounts has 1 gram of bho in it...my question is,will half be too much for my wife?or even me(please!)? will i go to sleep while she has a panic attack? i just dont want her having a bad time or jumping off the balcony(sorry colorado,i had to make the joke,too soon?get bent.)
any info/insight would be helpful,as im leary of ingesting a gram dab at once..thanks!

well I sure woulnt do it. I've eaten a gram of hash and found it more than a little uncomfortable, I imagine bho is what? Five times stronger? Then again, the hash eaters and hashasheens ate large amounts in order to emulate the heaven that awaited them if they died well in battle (or something like that).

Also that's a gram of THC which is more like a 1.25-1.5g of oil. Even winterized BHO typically only like 80-85%.
I think you'll be fine even if you eat the whole thing. Too much of everything being just enough and all.

is oil that strong duck? Also, I had a short argument the other day, I said one needn't heat oil in order to eat it and still get high. I said this on the basis of my eating hash. (bad idea it turns out, imported hash reputidly ocasionaly contained parasites). While I know carboxalation will enhance the buzz, they guy maintained that eating oil in any reasonable amount would have no effect.

I defer to your exemplary knowledge on such matters.

Normal oil is usually in the 50-70% range from what I've seen and winterization removes the terpenes and waxes.
Decarbing is best for effeciency but some of the THCA in fresh cut flowers will have already become THC so if you eat enough you'll get a buzz. The older the material is the more the THCA will decarb to THC so the more active it will become. just because the reaction is slow at room temp doesn't mean its not happening at all.
I'm sure even if the oil was made from fresh chopped plants eating enough of it will do the trick for those of you whose bodies can process oral THC and get a buzz. While I find edibles are wonderful for pain I get almost no central effects from them. Over the holidays a friend made some chocolate canna truffles and friends were describing how two got them fucked up ("like a mild shroom trip" was my favorite). I ate 4 and got a little drowsy...

my wife and i split one of those truffles..i had a relaxed buzz,she was STONED..but commented on how awake and not "noddy" she was compare to smoking my stash..
well,its not gonna rain(i hope),so gonna eat some bho brownie and mow the lawn!
will report back if possible.

So if half of one gave you a buzz then four should have made me more than a little drowsy...
Also if that was your wife's reaction to half that gives me a good idea of how Mrs Duck would react. They seem to have similar reactions and tolerances.

ok,so entire bar weighed 98gm,i ate 21 grams in a slice at 2:19..fucken potent! i wouldnt want to eat half a bar..my mouth tastes like a big exhale on a dab! overpowers most every other taste for ten mins!..i go mow the lawn after taking a few bong rips..got a little jello feeling,good for work,not to trippy,altho i found a fairy ring of mushrooms that was cool..any ways,feeling mellow,but not where i want to be(its friday dammit,and my lawns mowed!)so i ate a 22gram slice 5 mins ago..getting relaxed,back doesntt hurt much,waiting for the weirdness..if none comes,then drastic measures must become a reality,and i may eat the whole half.no,im not being rude,my wife says she wants no part of this and will watch the fun..i hope

oops..almost forgot the fairy ring..

buddy gave me some hydo last night, mixes pretty good with a bunch of other stuff. That and a cuesta rey Centro fino torpedo is my Friday afternoon. No mowing, grass is foolishness.

im pretty fucked up..def not for beginners..but about a half a bar has me nice and high..i want to eat the other half,but i dont do sweets too often and this thing is rich!..very nice "visuals"(the grass allways moves in my vision,but its more pronounced now)..all in all a fun experience so far..nice day also!hope yours is great canndo!

tis, the Centro fino is like a bar of caramel and the scotch and 20 mg of hydro has a tingling, energetic pleasantness up and down the spine, culminating in a persistant grin. I worked hard all week, I deserve this, yes I do. Perhaps I will explain my latest endeavor, aquaculture on a 3000 square foot piece of land, fully self sustsaining (I hope). Guppies go in next week. Plants after I activate the soil, perhaps I can feed four or five families after the guppies help me dial in the system and are replaced with tilapia.

You should use ducks!
No idea if they work better than fish but I just adore the idea

Whats up MrEDuck its been a long time, so quick question. I have ate BHO and kief pills and felt great on them but have been told it has to be heated up to have any effect... Is this true?

Yes and no. Raw flowers have some THC but it's mostly THCA. Decarbing makes it much more effective.

I tried eating oil a few years ago. I put a healthy size dab into an empty gel cap and downed it with a glass of whole milk to help with absorption. It was fucking intense! It actually felt more like a shroom trip, complete with visuals.

i was higher at my dads bday party..it would be intense if i had eat the whole half at once..but a quarter slice and another an hour later had me perfect..i feel any more would be a waste..problem now is not eating one a day since i can get unlimited treats!
