Bonsai Mother Grow Journal!

This journal will document my armada of Bonsai Mothers
to sustain all of my genetics.

The Lineup:
1x Lemon Skunk
3x Headband
3x Trainwreck

An AK47 seed may sprout, it seemed to grow a twin in the seed,
but they seperated, so I moved the seed to another Root Riot sponge,
and we'll see. I'm 99% sure they won't live,
I just figured I'd leave the rooters in there with the rest of them until I transplant.

A side note: Root Riot worked great for the seeds that did germinate, but I will probably paper towel then Root Riot from now on.
Or maybe just old school paper towel - dirt.

Headband:

After quite some time, the entrants have been narrowed down to;

Lemon Skunk
"A1"
"A2"

"A" being what I assume is headband.
The mothers were topped on 2/11, providing their first clones.

Here's the mothers, topped once.
They're still deficient from the pre-cloning flush.

"A2"

And my aesthetically favorite bonsai;

Unfortunately A1 is the only plant left to be sexed..
We won't know for a few weeks.

Been a while.. Quick post since I'm here,
A2 = Male, dead..
A1 is an amazing female, I put a stunted clone in bloom and it turned the vigor to max,
so much denser and more developed than any other plant at this stage flowering.
Unfortunately it's stunted and looks like I'll get a few grams.
I can't even imagine the results from a healthy bush going into bloom.

And I bloomed my lemon skunk mother out.
Bonsai moms piss me off now, hard as hell to clone.

That is a cool little bonsai (A1)! But wouldn't it have been better if you trimmed the roots and vegged a little before flowering? Or would that be defeating the purpose? And cloning that sucker must be a bitch! Which reminds me, have you ever seen this article?
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=31919 Great thread on bonsai growing and cloning. Best of Luck C!

Yea I've read that thread several times, thanks though.
The clone put out male flowers.
I'm going to trash the bonsai if she throws any.

It would certainly be better to veg it out, I just don't care at this point.
