Bonsai Grow Help

Hey everybody, brand new here glad to be here.

First off i need some help with my grow, i have 2 18 watt cfls hooked up in a big box with tin foil to reflect the light inside of it. But i was wondering how to grow bonsai weed, like the light schedule and what kind of pots to use.

Welcome! glad you have joined us to grow GOD'S gift to the world. If your planning to grow with cfls be sure the CHECK the cfl growing sub area of this forum. As these are the lovely folks using cfls like you. Most of the growers here use (MH) iMetal halide or (hps)High pressure sodium Lights to grow. As far as light schedule to Veg. is 18/6 but others use 20/4 or 24/0 . To flower the plant aka grow buds you would use a 12/12. As far as pots that is relevant to the plant size. just wonder around reading the forums an the grow journals you will learns tons as all of us have. hope this help good luck happy growing:bigjoint::leaf:

sup just a lil quistion... if u dont mind ? i live in ireland where all it ever does is pisses rain everyday and frezzing cold weather is it possable to grow any plant outisdE

The first thing you might want to do is get another light or two, but bonsai plants are pretty much just LST to the max as far as i understand it. Same light schedule as a normal plant and everything. And instead of the tinfoil try to get mylar.

Ok thanks i am thinkin about adding a 24 watt cfl bulb will that be good? Also where can i get mylar im just so out of it right now :D.
