Bonsai Food????

I've been mulling over some sort of DIY replacement for PK 13/14 for a few weeks now since i've been in flowering.. i'm a bit skint and dont want to buy another £15 bottle of nutes...

I have been thinking along the lines of adding guano and potash to my feed for the week pk 13/14 is used... However I have noticed that the NPK values on a bottle of Bonsai Food look useful... I'm using Canna Flores - NPK 2-2-4, apparently during the 5th week of flowering the Flores on its own isn't enough for prime flowering and extra P & K should be added, the Bonsai Food is 4-6-6 does anyone reckon it work either on its own or in conjunction with the Flores - or will it harm the plant?...

The Label on the back reads....

4% Total Nitrogen (2% nitric nitrogen & 2% ammonionical nitrogen)
6% Phosphorous Pentoxide (P2O5) Soluble in water
6% Potassium Oxide (K2O) Soluble in water

Trace elements:

0.02% Boron
0.004% Copper Chelated by EDTA
0.04% Iron Chelated by DTPA
0.02% Manganese
0.002% Molybdenum
0.004% Zinc

I think it looks harmless enough but an expert opinion would be appreciated!

Cheers :leaf:
