Thats a complete new one on me, sounds like another lets stress the bitch out as much as possible in the last minute in the hope it makes it stronger, all these claims like nail in the stem, birth control pills, darkness for a week after harvest are always followed by claims of increased potency by someone who swears it seems stronger, except the guy will never get it properly tested in a lab to see if thc was increased or not.

I've heard this one before. This is an old myth. There is this persistent fallacy that THC flows within the plant. For some reason this got started as a way to get all the THC out of the roots and into the buds or something like that. There is no merit to this myth. bongsmilie

Step dad told me manymany years ago..... right after you pick it you stick it in boiling water, flip them and all the THC rushs to the buds, ALL BULLSHIT lol

It sounds ridculous and messy to me... If you have good plants and they are finished just cut them down and begin drying them and getting them ready to cure... This just seems like an extra step that wouldnt bring any results that would do anything for you also the steam from the boiling water probably isnt very good for the buds on the plants... if you don't believe any of the posts above you could always call mythbusters...
