u got the cool smileyz!
Thanks KMK 15 ! lol
They are some handy little boogers.

kewl sounds good...i cant wait to see these thangs go boom!
You and I both ! lol
Can't wait for 3 more weeks to pass.
Get's real interesting beyond that point, IMO.

Hell yeah, can't wait to see.
Where are some pics flo!!!?
I also demand pictures ;)
Me too! Where are the pics? Slacker!! Jk I haven't updated mine either, need to do that tonight :)
LMAO........ I actually meant to take some yesterday, but wasn't able to until today.

Today is Bloom Day 2 !

PPM = 575 of Veg nute regiment for 2 more weeks.
PH = 5.8
Rez Temps = 63F
Ambient Temp = 77F - 78F lights off; 81F - 82F lights on.
400w Hotrilux only, and at 18 inches above the canopy.

SR71 PK x Appalachia aka Kujo Kush, have all their main colas ( 2 w/ 4 and 1 w/ 6) thru the net PLUS lots of secondary branches already in the netting.

Chernobyl has all it's main colas and some secondary branches in the net as well.

DPD is still lagging slowly, with all colas JUST below the net.

The next 2 weeks will be exciting with the stretch about to kick in !!!

I decided on the name Kujo Kush bcuz :

SR71 Purple Kush x Appalachia (Green Crack x TresDawg [ChemDawg Bx3])

So PK x A Dawg on Crack (is crazy like Kujo) = Kujo Kush

Pics just taken 2.5 hrs ago with my trusty GREEN CFL turned on so I can work the SCROG !!

The above pic does no justice to the actual growth and training taking place.

Clones to be taken around Bloom Day 14, when the stretch is at it's end.
Don't want to clip early and risk taking what could be some more nice colas at harvest.
Clones always come from the bottom too, where there are older and more hormones avail to assist with root developement.

I've also trimmed a ton of leaves over the last 1.5 weeks to open up more of the plant to useful light, which is how I got so many secondary branches to the netting.
All these plants have huge Indica leaves, so the trimming was needed.

Again, lots of careful training to take place for the next 2 - 3 weeks.
I will post pics when there's a noticeable difference, as it goes along.
That should be every 3 - 4 days roughly/assumingly.

Thanks for dropping in !
Ask any question(s), if need be.

yo
i ben snifin around a few pages back up to here
i be liken what your tutorial on da pollen and dustin a branch or two
should help a lot of folks out
whenn i started here a few years back all everyone said was 'if you get a male kill it "
must have b een started by seed banks
skool em good shoem the way
cause thats the way its supposed to be the way our creator planned it

1Luve - Stay True

God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so." And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Gen. 1:29-31)
AMEN !!

I killed males starting out, but then we NEED them too.
Then realized I how easy it really was/is to pollinate, and I get to have MORE genetics to play with and search for.
ChemDawg was an accidental pollination that turned up some DANK phenotypes !!
Why can't I do it on purpose and hope for a killer female(s) to be found too !? lmao

Today is Bloom Day 5 and all is well.
It's as if they know they're meant to be trained.
No resistance and they bend with no probs.
I believe if you start them soon enough, they adapt.

Now in order to show the growth I color coded a few pics.

Red = Primary tip/cola

Blue = Secondary and lower branches/stem that are either above the net already or RIGHT below it at the moment. Most are above though.

These first 2 pics are from Bloom Day 4 and before trimming.

The trimmed leaves followed by 2 pics of the canopy looking whooped after training too.

The below pic is a beautiful canopy that's vibrant and eager to grow some more the next day at lights on, Bloom Day 5 !!
BIG difference from the above pic just 1 day earlier, huh !?!
Who said don't trim or it will hurt/stress them ?!
Do a little at a time in the RIGHT places.
That comes with growing and doing SCROG a few times.

Here's 2 quick pics on training.

Before......

After............

Just a few more pics to show how training AND trimming opens the canopy fo lowers to become colas above the net, when they would otherwise be smaller and/or popcorn buds.
This 1st pic is an underside pic of the above main stem that was just bent sideways.

View attachment 1571630

Double Purple Doja #1 which was topped for 4 colas, but this pic is one of the colas with it's secondaries at the net along with it, and followed by an under shot too.

View attachment 1571642

View attachment 1571646

Double Purple Doja #2 that WAS NOT topped and allowed a single cola since it is the youngest in the garden by 6 days from seed.
Still, after bending the main cola/stem, look at the secondary branches at the net too.

View attachment 1571656

And let's finish with a pic of the whole set up after some training and removal of half-a-dozen fan leaves or so.

View attachment 1571659

All plants, except the DPD's and SR71 #3, have been topped for 6 main colas.

So, 5 plants w/ 6 main colas = 30 (3 Sr71's and 2 Chernobyl's)
1 SR71 has 2 tops = 2
1 DPD has 4 tops w/ 3 at the net = 3
1 DPD grown tree style w/ 1 cola = 1

So that's 36 main colas, yet there's a lot more "colas" above or at the netting with more to come in the next 2 weeks !!!

Thanks for your time !
Any questions, please feel free to ask.
