Blumats. Who's using them?

It looks pretty even to me. It's just a little dry, which isn't a bad thing. it looks like it's ready to be hand water, but staying that way. From what I've read, that's the perfect moisture zone.
It's just the top layer that looks dry. Lots of air moving around in there. Pots are heavy. I just watered them to run off on Thursday and put the blumats in

I'm putting in 2 per pot but was just about to order 12 more to run 3. I think I could get by with 2 but 3 would give a nice even saturation
I'm using hyclean
I recommend getting the quick connect fittings too. Super helpful if you ever need to pull a plant out.

I used shut off valves because the tubing is so easy to work with. You just unscrew and pop it off. But I just looked and they are more expensive. That makes no sense to me.

Ya I have a bunch of those 8mm shutoffs but I didn't get the 4mm quick connect ones. They were kinda exp for 12 and I figured I didn't NEED them
Little more exp.in Canada....

Would be like 93 bucks just for shutoffs...

I just pull it out of the carrot and tie a little knot in it. I've had to do this a bunch of times after getting rid of male plants.
I'm finding as the plants grow they are using more water (obviously) and seem to have to turn the dial up a bit? Does this make sense?
