Blumat Tropt fittings

Hey all, I'll have my blumat Tropt 12 site kit tomorrow plus some extra fittings. However I determined I should have more shut off valves. Sustainable village takes a couple weeks to ship orders.

Is there any American sized fittings that work with this kit. They use 8mm and 3mm as there sizes. I was wondering if I can buy fittings for 1/4 inch of hose if it would work. Or can anyone tell me jus tin general if Americans sizes can work? I might have a couple laying around to tell myself once it arrives but I haven't found them yet.

Also, any other bulkhead fittings out there or am I just stuck using blumats parts? They are not fast and even through Amazon can take weeks!

It is good to have more than one shutoff especially if you have both outputs feeding plants in different areas. They are like $11 on Amazon…highway robbery for what they are. I had no luck finding parts from any other manufacturer except Tropf. That must be why they are charging so much for this stuff. I need a few of those valve caps that regulate the drip. Lost a few of them and now I have carrots I can’t even use. Hate to have to buy more carrots just for the spare parts. Hoping some one else has a solution…,

I head read further on sizing. I'll comment back soon but today I have some pieces coming. I'll comment back details on American sizing and if anything works with the Blumat sizes. There is even a kit with the exact pieces you are looking for for super cheap. I didn't buy that piece to try that for ya but I may get more pieces including those if some of this stuff starts to work out. I want to help everyone on this because they take to long to get parts from. Even through Amazon. Someone needs to stock there stuff or we are all screwed and need to buy like 10 kits at a time to have stock. I purposely bought a handful of extra pieces when I ordered the kit Incase there stuff only works with...there stuff.. haha stay tuned

Hey friend. Here to try and save the day. As for the 8mm main line. You can use 1/4 in American fittings for this. So a shut off valve that's 1/4 will fit tight and right inside the 8mm tubing from blumat. I just confirmed yesterday with a 1/4 inch fuel filter. Fit perfectly! So I'm getting some shut offs and other items in 1/4. There are the adjusters that go on the carrot. Let me convert those sizes and see what I can figure out.

They look exactly like the adjuster on top. Will it fit the 3mm line. Not sure but so far closest I have found.

None of the fittings that come in this kit look like they will fit tropf blumat carrots but thanks for the info.

I just ordered a new filter and fittings to expand my blumat setup and I ordered from sustainable village on Thursday with tracking showing delivery for Monday. Might want to reconsider ordering from them. Plus just about every blumat part on Amazon is from them so just order straight from them. Also a guy on eBay is selling bulk used blumat parts. Just bought 10 valves for $20 shipped

It's your best bet for correct fit but def can purchase other brand fittings in American sizes that fit like a glove. My wait time from them was associated to building my 12 carrot kit. They were assembling kits as they were ordered when I got mine. If it's just fittings they can probably fulfill those quick.
I got a pack of 8 filters for $7 that work perfect. A pack of 5 or 10 shut off valves for $1.50 so far. Free ship on each from Amazon. The sizes were spot on. Quality, I mean there is absolutely nothing special about blumat fittings. They have nice shut off valves but they plug up like any other can. No flow restrictions have been noticed. Same calibration/setup and continued working normally
