BlueCheese/Twilight/Whiteberry/Northern Soul grow by K1Ng5p4d3 ;)

Ok, so im gonna do another update really quick for you guys, since theres been alotta growth goin on since last time around. Im at the end of my third week of vegging for all my indica dominant plants (all of them, lol -- except for WW, which just broke ground), so i got 3 more weeks to go round abouts. Maybe a little sooner than that, cuz basically i wanna give the WW enough time to get established - i figure about 3 or 4 more days, and then ill start the timer for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, all of them bitches get the flowering treatment man -- it only seems like yesterday that i planted these bitches, its fuckin awesome. time flies when you have to tear down your tent twice and rebuild it, n fix plant problems n bullshit like that, lol.

I hooked up the Panda Film n Mylar last night. All i did was staple the mylar to the panda action, n duct taped the shit out of everything. I didnt do a front flap fully yet for the tent though, as i dont have a zipper right at the moment to stick to the plastic.

Well start with BlueCheese #1 as usual.

Shes doin awesome man. I topped her twice, and shes seriously just fuckin lookin awesome. Her topped branches are just now shooting up, and you really cant see them peekin out of the canopy yet, but shes still lookin like a beast even with her top half chopped off, lol.





N heres Blue Cheese #2. Shes doin awesome too, just a little smaller than her sister. Once again, its because the light wasnt getting evenly distributed around the room because i was only using clear plastic tarp as a temporary cover for the tent, and since i left my closet doors open to keep temps optimal, the light just went everywhere but where it was supposed to go. I just kept smackin myself in the head, wonderin why the growth rate was the same as it was when i was growin CFLs. The answer is because i was only using about 20% of the light that was actually coming off of the fuckin MH bulb, lol.




Next up, my two Twilights. Basically they just look different from the others man. Just different in general. Im wondering how theyre gonna end up still, cuz of that whole thing about Attitude sayin that theyre fine to grow indoors and Dutch passion sayin that theyre strictly an outdoor plant. Theyre still coming along nicely, but all the growth is small - all the leaves are small, no super large branches or fan leaves, just bunched up tons of smaller growth.

And now, for my main bitch, my Northern Soul. It looks like her n BC#1 are competing for the most attention here. Shes lush, lookin amazing, and just like the rest, has been topped twice, so once the tops catch up to the rest of the plant, i should have plants that are almost a foot tall i cant fuckin wait to see this one get nugged out

White Berry is lookin NOICE too, lol. Shes growing steady and strong. Some of her branches are a nice hue of purple. Topped her twice too, and shes lookin just perfect in my book, except for that yellowing at the very bottom that all my plants have because of the damn tent. What i want for this one, is for the nugs to have a purple tint to them, n then just be completely sugarcoated with trichomes, to where it looks bright white, with a hint of purple in it - kinda like the pic on the Tude webbie lol.

N now heres a shot of my two WW babies. Theyre just now breakin ground, so bear with them for a day or two and theyll come right along. WW#1 sprouted, split her milk leaves, and is already working on her first set of true leaves. WW#2 is still all curled up, trying to stand up straight and split her milk leaves, but im a patient man (for the most part!!) i can wait a couple days for them to develop before i throw them into the mix

I wanted to get some advice on the grow tent you are using. Are they really worth the money because I am thinking of getting the HOMEBOX XXL so i can put two lights in.

Was wondering how hard it was to put together and hang all the equipment in. Also are you venting those tubes out of a window or into the outgoing room where your tent is.

the tents are awesome man, you need to make sure its in a big enough room to have plenty of ventilation around it though so it can draw in fresh cool air, and they are super easy to set up and versatile hanging the fans and lights ....flashman you can read in grow faq about topping, its just snipping the main stem above the nodes causing it to develope 2 main colas rather than 1

Ok, so heres whats up for my new update.

Transplanted plants. Fuckin A man. the shit works, lol. I filled up the growbags all the way (as opposed to half way when i started them out), and the plants are THRIVING. Originally, i planned on using less soil to start out with, and was gonna transplant once a little later into flowering, but as the grow went on, i started to think that the bags were just fine and i wasnt gonna need to do it. Then the plants stopped growin one day, and wouldnt start up again, lol, so i figured that they needed to stretch. Turns out that was the case man, n now the roots have a whole nother half a growbag to stretch their legs in, and shoot up a few more inches. Ill be happy if my girls end up being 2 feet tall from top soil to top leaf.

GIRLS!!!!! -- I GOT FUCKIN FOR SURE GIRLS!!!! -lol, i already knew they were gonna be girls 99%, but now it just feels good knowin it for a fact. 3 or 4 i think of my girls are now showing sex. Lookin sexy with just two sets of pistils per plant, but its just a sign that theyre gonna start blowin up soon, and be some beastin motherfuckers in just a matter of a couple weeks. This gives potential for a bigger yield right?? fast flowering is a sign of vigourous calyx growth, hence more nuggets, right?? Whatever, theyre bitches, n im happy


The ladies are getting nice n tall, and i can now give you guys an accurate plant by plant height, as i got off my lazy ass n made somethin happen, lol.

Blue Cheese #1 -- 18" roughly, right between 18 n 19. - Shes once again taken over the title of biggest plant. Shes got a bigger canopy than all the girls. Shes got fuller branches, HUGE thick stem, bright green, giving off a funky fuckin skunk ass smell that takes over the entire room when ventilation and odor control aint running. a Very impressive little chick if i do say so myself.

Northern Soul -- 17/18" - the top leaf bends a little bit, so its right in between there, lol. Shes fuckin huge man. Her canopy is thick, and lush, and shes just healthy as hell in general. She gets the odd occasioanall Yellow mini leaf at the very bottom of the plant near the main stem n the soil, but thats it. all the other signs of sickliness are from when i had the hydrohut material on the tent.

Twilight #1 -- 16" - was 15" yesterday, so shes still goin. Shes starting to wanna compete with the BB1 n NS for the most of my affection. Although, shes not really filling out like i wouldve liked her to, shes lookin just fine, with all kindsa purple branches all over the fuckin place. This is gonna be a purdy plant man, seriously.

WhiteBerry -- 16" - size aint gonna be everything with this one - i think this plant is gonna end up being my headdie stash, by the way shes lookin right now. Thick, leathery leaves, deep green, HUGE stem, thick branches, just lookin like a beast in general. Ive met some tough short motherfuckers in my lifetime, so i aint countin size as everything with this grow at all.

Twilight #2 -- 15" - shes actually not doin as good as all the rest. She LOOKS good - nice canopy, when you look from the top she looks nice as hell, but thin. When you look at the branch formation, you notice that all the branches are shooting straight up, not tree-ing out n getting wide, or any of that. The branches and everything else are really healthy, dont get me wrong, but the form shes takin on, lol, she looks like an anorexic plant. I decided to tie her down a little bit, just to pull the branches more out towards the lip of the bag, and not straight up -- like theyre so fuckin bunched up the canopy doesnt even go the width of the growbag, lol -- THATS how bunched up n fucked up lookin it is. I didnt take pics this time, but next update ill show you what i mean if it hasnt improved since this change. I tied her up today, and am gonna leave her like that for about a week, untill all the middle growth grows out alot.


Sorry i didnt take pics of every single plant, but when i took the pics yesterday, i was high as shit n i didnt wanna go through taking them all out one by one n snappin shots. Next update ill do like 30 pics for you guys n let you take a look at everything.

The last pic btw, is my babies all put together, to make one giant canopy. That shit is fuckin NOICE man. I almost cried, lol.

thanks for reading everyone, i hope you enjoy the updates. Ill hook up another one in a couple days when you can SEE the pistils everywhere. Shouldnt take long, now that were off n running with our first set. PLUS next update ill have been using the Excellofizz pucks, and Purple maxx for a week or so, so maybe well be able to notice a difference even by then because of the new additives!! i fuckin hope so, lol.

By topping i mean clipping the main stem off of the plant at an intersection between the main stem and two branches shooting out. in the "armpits" of that intersection youll see two tiny little tufts of growth. You wanna cut the main stem right at that point, right around the 3rd or 4th node on the plant. Those little tufts of growth will turn into main branches, only now youll have two main branches instead of one. This is done to keep your plants bushy and shorter, while also increasing the number of budsites on your plant, potentially increasing yield, but thats yet to be confirmed for sure when growing indoors. Outdoor growers use topping to turn their plants into big fuckin trees with a million budsites, and this DEFINITELY increases yield a bit.

I know man, leaves are all leathery and beautiful lookin. I wanna keep this one for headdie stash for sure (as in my OWN bud im keepin in a glass jar by my bed at all times, and aint no body else smokin this shit besides me, and MAYBE my wife, depending on how shes been treating me that day

N yeah, it was supposed to be a longer veg, but the growth in between nodes were starting to shoot out and wanna form into their own branches which is great n everything, but it takes away from bud production on the main stem, and instead of giving me another 3-4 inches in length and girth on the main buds, theyll stop short at that branch, and the branch that grew out there would have a tiny little popcorn nug there. So it wasnt worth it to grow them out for longer. I pulled the trigger two weeks early. BUT thats a good thing, cuz now i can veg my WW's for longer than i had planned to, and can throw them into flowering whenever i want to, instead of going by a schedule to get everything done within a certain amount of time. I even started up a Red Diesel and a Power Skunk a few days ago man, lol. So basically its gonna go like this -- 4 plants will be harvested, then 2 weeks later 2 more plants, and 2 weeks later 2 more plants. I aint countin the RD n PS plants cuz im doin somethin dumb with them for entertainment. Im growin midget banzai trees in 20 oz cups with those two. If i HAVE to, i MIGHT switch them to somethin like 3/4g of soil if they dont produce anything and i have to do some plant CPR just to get a quarter oz, lol. Well see how they go though.

The tent im using is a generic hydrohut. Whats ironic is, i bought the generic version, because there was too much hype going around about how hydrohuts and other tents being made by the same manufacturer were defective, having been sprayed with some type of adhesive in the vinyl, to where once heated up to a certain temp, it offgasses a chemical into the atmosphere, that is EXTREMELY lethal to plants. Theyll start yellowing once they get out of the seedling stage, and then slowly start to die. Once they ALL started turning yellow at the EXACT same time, i knew somethin was up, so i took the tent material off and replaced it with mylar and panda film. Since then my shits been growing nonstop and healthy as hell. I wouldnt recommend getting a Hydrohut, a Homebox, or a generic version either, until next year sometime. If your gonna buy a tent, go with a DarkRoom, or a Secret Jardin tent. Those are the best tents on the market right now, and they havent had any defective tents pop up outta nowhere. Those two brands are safe (Just so you know, There are two machines in hong kong that make all grow tents, no matter what the brand is, which is why so i recommend that you dont buy any of those brands except for Secret and Darkroom.)

The tents are fuckin awesome though dude. Even setting up a frame for yourself and supplying your own material to make one is awesome. it fit right into my closet, and in an enclosed space like that venting is easy, and so is making shit reflective and maximizing every single lumen coming out of that HID and making it count.

BUT, ill hook up an official update RIGHT the fuck now , just for you guys!!

Ok, ill start with explaining the pics. the first two are just shots of the plants in my tent. the room is getting kinda cramped in there, and ive started using some new nutes (ill get to that in a minute), which call for me moving the light farther away from the ladies, so i had to basically tie the light up as far as i could, and hope the tops dont turn out fluffy, or worse - burnt, lol.

So the first plant there is WHITEBERRY. Shes a fuckin madwoman guys. Shes not the tallest, or the biggest by any means, but her branches are the thickest, and she just looks fuckin awesome. i think this plant is gonna be my headstash, for my-lungs-only plant, lol. shes so lush, n dark dark green, she looks like shes gonna have tinges of blue in her nuggets. Fuckin beautiful plant with no complaints whatsoever. shes topping out at a whopping 21 inches tall, n hopefully she wont get much taller. Shes gonna have some heavy fuckin nuggets man. Those branches really are huge - about as thick as my finger, n a massive trunk to boot.

Next up, we have BLUECHEESE#1. This is one huge bitch man. I aint talkin bout my wife in the pic, lol, imean the plant . Topping out at 25 inches, shes just fuckin amazing. N she STINKS man, to fuckin high heaven she just STINKS like fuckin skunky ass, lol. her branches are huge, and shes lush, green, and beautiful. no complaints at all, other than i wish i could clone right now, because this is one plant that i definitely wanna keep the genetics of. Good thing i got more BCHEESE seeds man, lol.

Next, is Northern Soul. Up until this point shes pretty much been Bluecheese#1's twin. Just similar in ALOTTA ways. But now shes taking on a personality of her own, stinkin really bad, but differently than the Cheese is. she smells kinda sweet, but skunky. its a really distinct smell, n its overpowering every other plant in the tent. Lush, green, and skunky -- who can ask for more??

Next, we have Twilight. There was originally TWO twilight plants, but one unfortunately took a turn for the worst. by that, i mean she grew some fuckin BALLS. pissed me right the fuck off man. she had pistils everywhere, except on two branches. those two branches grew balls man. n i WAS gonna hold on to her so i could get some seeds out of the deal aswell as some nuggets, but i couldnt figure out where the hell to put her, cuz i aint keepin a pollen carrying plant in the tent with all my beauties, i want some seedless A+ DANK. no seeds allowed. ----ANYWAYS, back to THIS plant. She REALLY surprised me man. at first she was a slow grower, feeble, and really just disappointing to me. Shes still not really filling out width wise, as in shes not growing any new branches to make her look fuller, but the ones shes already got are filling out, and shes starting to look like a monster. shes got two PRONOUNCED HUGE BRANCHES, that actually make this the tallest plant, topping out at somethin like 26 inches i cant really remember. Her leaf stems have a deep purple stripe right down themiddle of each stem. So i dont know if shes gonna turn purple or not, but its gonna be fun watching to find out. Those two huge fuckin branches are gonna produce two HUGE buds IMO, and a bunch of little popcorn nugs all on the smaller branches. i just cant get over this plant man, i would definitely grow her again if given the chance - at least so far, lol.


N finally, we have BLUECHEESE#2. This plant, just like twilight, was actually growing really slow, and having trouble filling out. she caught up though, and now shes running right along with the pack, getting big n swelling up, and just lookin like shes gonna be carrying some KILLER fuckin nuggets man. Im impressed with the way shes growin out. a nice female for sure. No complaints, but then again i really dont have much to say but WOW, about pretty much all the plants anyways, lol. so --WOW.

My seedsman White Widows (the small ones, lol) are coming along slowly. im only supposed to be vegging these for two weeks (one weed for seedling stage, and then two weeks for veg), and then into flower, so she doesnt get over 4 feet tall, but at the rate shes growing, im kinda worried. im also worried, becuase shes yellowing a little bit, and the leaves are twisting. I think that this is mostly because, during my last feeding which was a water only feed, i accidentally fed them both a dose of mollasses. i dont know what molasses does to seedlings, but im doing everything else by the book, so i dont see what else it could be. Fresh FF soil, not reused, with a touch of dolemite lime mixed in - thats it. It could be the CFLs that im vegging them under, but i doubt it because they worked so well for my last grow. it could also be that the top cab isnt vented properly, but i dont knw what the hell it could really be. im just gonna keep on doin what im doin, back the CFLs off a little bit, and flush them out with some fresh RO water next feeding. they should be just fine man, ive seen plants recover from worse yellowing (like every other single plant in my tent right now during seedling stage for instance, lol). Well be aight


Now, to replace the Twilight plants, ive taken the Red Diesel plant that i had in a 20 oz cup ( i was doing an experiment to see what i could accomplish with a dank seed and a tiny cup for shits n giggles), and i planted her into a 3 gallon grow bag, n im gonna grow her out untopped and beautiful. i might have to get some Bushmaster though, to keep vertical growth down to a minimum,lol. i really cant wait to see how this plant and the two WWs look when they are flowering man. purdy stuff



Now, as i was talking about before, im using new nutrients that ive added to my regimen. I bought some humboldt County Purple Maxx, and Gravity.
The Purp Maxx is supposed to pack n stack the calyxes closer and tighter together for denser buds, and its also supposed to increase crystal and resin production. i just started working the purp maxx into my nutrient schedule 2 days ago, and already the plants have had a massive growth spurt. cant wait to see what itll do when i got golfball sized flowers on the plants in about 2 weeks man. exciting isnt it?? lol. Now, the Gravity, im only supposed to use twice. Once 3 weeks before chop,and then one more time the watering after my final flush. This stuff is supposed to pack on massive weight to the buds. its supposed to make them super dense, and resin dripping good. its basically a high grade flower finisher. dont get me wrong, i dont know shit about this stuff but only from what ive read. the name humboldt county really hooked me in, only cuz they know theyre stuff, and these nutes were specifically made for pot. Im into it man, lol.

Im also supposed to cut my regular nutes back by 1/3 strength once i start using the maxx, so i dont burn my plants - because the stuff basically opens up the root system to where they suck up 100% more nutrients than they could beforehand, and that greatly increases the chances of nutrient burn. so you have to back the lighting off a little bit (6-10 inches), and start your nutes up at 1/2 strength, and then work your way back up slowly until you find the right strength for your babies.

I cant wait to see what this shit does man. im excited as hell, cuz i never thought id be able to accomplish what ive done so far, this well. IMHO my plants are lookin fuckin awesome, and what ive been doing is the right thing, and hopefully my plants will reach theyre full potential. theyre not super tall because i topped each plant twice. if i would have left them untopped, the plants would probably be a good 5 feet tall right now easily. so im happy im at where im at right now man. the fun part is only weeks away, and i cant fuckin wait man. time is flying by, and before i know it ill be pluckin sample nugs on new years man. This is gonna be good.

Thanks man, i really appreciate that shit -- n your T5s are just fine dude, i know it may be a little slower goin, but them lights will do just fine for a nice yield. If your worried about growth rate or size, why dont you go pick up another T5 rack n double your lumens??

i looked into my tent this mornin, n i got some mini golfballs goin on man. Im SERIOUSLY impressed with the way shit is developing here. The only complaint i have really, is that on the one side of the tent, where i have twilight and bluecheese #1, the buds arent growin as fast as they are on the other side of the tent. This is because the majority of the light is sittin to one side of the tent, because i have some ducting in the way i think, or because the bulb isnt centered in the room. Either way, the solution is simple, im just gonna rotate the plants around daily, so they all get an even amount of light. I was thinking about hookin up a light mover in there, but its north worth the trouble, plus i have fans and ducting and a carbon filter that would get in the way, so my solution is better, lol.

BlueCheese #2 -- The new LEader of the pack. Without a doubt the nicest lookin buds of the bunch, this is the plant that my avatar pic is from. Straight up 4' tall with the growbag, and just lush green, no signs of any serious burn or deficiencies, and she just seems to be lovin life.

Whiteberry -- Same deal man, just a little shorter, lol. Shes about 3 1/2 feet including the growbag, and also has buds the size of huge marbels, or smaller golfballs. These two plants are directly under the bulb, but ill start rotating theplants around tomorrow. Just fuckin beautiful.

Northern Soul -- Middle of the road. Her nuggets are still not quite as big as the previous two plants, but still shes lush, and just lookin fuckin awesome. 4' including growbag. Once i put this one under the bulb where bluecheese #2 is, shes gonna take over as the front runner easily, lol.

Twilight -- Shes so fuckin wierd lookin man, lol. Shes 4'3", and shes really thin. Not much foliage, but she has two MONSTER main branches that are just gonna turn into two massive fuckin colas hopefully. the way things are forming, i think that the spacing between nodes is just barely close enough to where we might be able to get one long big thick cola out of each huge branch. Well see. Buds arent that big, but shes the one thats sitting at the other end of the tent. No shadows are cast in the tent at all, but shes still not getting all the lumens id like for her to get. Once again, rotating will fix this for sure..

BlueCheese #1 -- Not at the back of the pack to say the least, but shes definitely got a little catching up to do. 4' with growbag, but her nugs just dont look quite caught up to the rest of the girls. I think im gonna use a full teaspoon of purple maxx on all the plants next feeding, just to see if it helps out with the calyx stacking. I cant fuckin wait for those calyxes to start swelling up, and for the hairs to change colors on the blue cheeses man. Theyre gonna look so fuckin danky, lol.

The White Widows Are FINALLY FUCKING GROWING!!! I got a couple more books last night -- MARIJUANA SUCCESS INDOORS by Ed Rosenthal, and CANNABIS CULTIVATION by Mel Thomas. While checkin out the Ed book, it just popped into my head that i havent given them any grow nutes at all yet. So i took both of them out of the flowering tent immedeately, and i fed them both 1/2 strength veg nutes, just to see if something would happen, but at the same time, making sure i dont burn anything. Woke up this morning and both plants have spacing between nodes now, and are forming new nodes, and the branches are actually fanning out finally man. Im so god damn relieved, seriously. I thought they mighta ended up being lost causes, lol.

So anyways, i lied, lol, im gonna do the update now - i just wanted to make ya sweat a little bit
lemme get to uploading the pics, and ill post again. The plants are in the same order in the pictures as they are in my report here. Gimme about ten minutes

Yeah i was thinkin about that, I think im gona get another t5 set for a veg/clone chamber, and try to get perpet with it.
