Just wondering if anyone that has grown the strain Blueberry has noticed that this strain seems to have alot of mutated leaf growth. Most of my 10 do.. Many of the first few sets of leaves seem to be mis shappen..Does this in time start growing better shaped leaves? All my other strains don't do this just the blue berry is..

heya g & c...

Leaf mutations are very common in the Blueberry line. They are also VERY sensitive to nutrients and will "claw" easily.

I think you'll see them grow out of it somewhat, although some of the first/eqrly leaves may always be weirded out. The thing to do is to take clones from multiple plants and then see if those also mutate. Often times they will not be as badly mutated...or will lose the trait altogether in later generations. It's really something you have to play with all the way around.

tasty stuff though....and some of the crosses are matches made in heaven.

good luck

Thanks for the reply. Even though the leaves are mutated The end result should be fine then? The seeds are Dutch Passion fems.
