Blueberry LED

It has taken me months to get to where i am. I slowly bought what i need for my lady, and now minus the FF soluables i have everything set for flowering. The lady is in a tent 2.5'x4'x7. I just installed the 90w Triband UFO one hour before lights off (2pm today) Its on 17/7. I'm slowly reducing the light in anticipation of 12/12.

The plant (osso) is 29" and in a 5gal earthbox. I top feed because I found the wick system to be unreliable.

Nutes at 2/3rd strength FFGB and FFBB
FFTB starts next week and the soluables will be bought according to feeding schedule (shitty econ)

I hope to prove the value of LED's but am not sure what the true results will be, so no need to hate or flame....I post this for us :weed:.

Pic's will be up shortly
:peace:

Forgot she's sleeping no pics until tomorrow

I recieved the clone in Jan and have used CFL's for most of the veg(2 week with another LED but it was short lived) It has had its share of stress:dunce: but none since Feb :bigjoint: I used 4 26w daytime for the rest of the time.

I will see where the LED will get me and if need be i have CFL's to add light but would rather prove the effect of LED on its own, but to keep it real i will let the plant be the judge of what she needs:cool:

As of 2pm this afternoon the lights go off until wens @ 10pm when i will start the flowering cycle and really see what this LED can do. As far as veg the light has proved its worth with strong growth and little to no steching.

Let the countdown begin the final 2 months begin tomorrow.

wow the plant looks really good so far man, it will be nice to see what the ufo will do, should give you a pretty nice yield since its only on one plant. subscribed and + rep for giving newer technology a shot

Great looking grow so far s.mills! As a fellow LED grower that is also about to begin flowering I'm really pulling for you.

Is the third band on your UFO 612nm orange?

Peace.

Day 3 Flowering:

Fed with Compost Tea today she is currently on FF week 5. I use the FF nutes for one watering and with the next i use tea. She stands at 41.5"
I did some minor pruning to clean up the bottom, the plants energy is better spent elsewhere at this point

Awesome its my girls first and only 420  and merry 420 to everyone on RIU on this holiday i think it's important for us as the "counter culture" to take a more mainstrem approach and stand up as We the People and get our right to pursue Happiness in our way! Drinkin at work will bring out the politics

so back to the reason we are here:

Its Day 6 of flower and since my last update i have done some minor LST to keep the canopy as even as possible.

Here she is along with some of her clones that will hopefully be the start of my perpetual grow. kinda lacking the space needed but having to move pots never killed anyone i know.

The 3 in white pots will be transplanted into smartpots before they flower. In an area know for indoor growing only one local store actually knew what smartpots were.

the one in the biggest pot is OG kush

And that Sam Adams White beer is real good :)

lol...I will def work on the photo rotation.. on my laptop its easy to just turn the screen

so its the end of day 11 and sex has definitly been shown but no preflowers yet, which is surprising to me considering the use of open sesame and the extended darkness before the switch. was given a heavy watering to avoid dry spots in the box. THe kush is getting to a cloneable point but may have to wait to take. I wish there was more to do in my garden but alas there is not :(

I will definately be watching this grow with high interest..Seriously considering starting my next grow with led..quite interested in the ufo..been reading/researching the pros and cons of growing with the ufo and slowly seeing "the light"...been a committed 400w hps for a long time now and happy with the results but can definately see something quite valid in using led technology...very interested to see how your grow goes during its flowering stage keep up the good work and thanks for sharing

BandP Thanks for stopping by :bongsmoke

So 2 weeks later here is where she is:

She's been feed week 6 feeding for 2 weeks and i gave her a 1/4 dose instead of just h20 today after being away for 5 days. You can def see the bud site now, i would say she's in full pre flower :) She is a smacking 53" tall. Any LST'n i did was cut and i plan on doing no more, shes on her own. here are a few pic's i tried to rotae but when i uploaded its a different story. can i get some help por favor . wish i had a macro lens for my cam  :joint:

I transplanted the kush into a 3gal smart pot. I let her dry out completly so transplant was real easy, the roots were doing an awesome job of circurling in her previous pot so i hope a quick and succesful adjustment.

Keep It Green fellas
