There is a thread on here ff vs mg soil take a look at it mg is clearly doing better than ff of soil
FF is a little overrated and inflated in price. Wyteberrywidow, I agree...I mean I made my own great organic mixture using neutral Sunshine and the ingredients listed in my last post. If I want a pricey complete mix, I will take Sunshine #4 over Fox Farm Ocean Forest or Happy Frog. For $9.99, I have been completely impressed with Sunshine! Here are the most recent pictures and I am really impressed. Growth is starting to explode! The nutrient combo was great, but I am expecting even better results with the three nutrient combo (pics of the combo are below). The leaves that look kinda torn or in bad shape are ones that grew before transplant. The first and fifth pictures (left-to-right, top-to-bottom) are Day 14 and the rest are today (15). You can see how fast they are taking off now. Pic 4 is the BBG LST bend #2 (blue thread is 2nd bend). Pic 6 is the nutrient trio (tri-attack!) that I am using ($25 total for the three combined...very inexpensive for the quality). The water jug in the pic is what the three look like combined. Pic 9 is the Organic insecticide (basically potassium, neem oil, and pyrethrin) and the Peruvian Sea-bird guano. I know I am long-winded, but I am just proud of how I am doing in just my second full grow and my first doing great research and applying the knowledge.

It's a preference thing. I like making my own soil. You can't always trust something just because it is written on a bag. If I make it, I know. My soil has every base covered. Macros, Micros, Probiotics, Mycorrhizae...etc. I have grew some beautiful Silver Haze with nothing but MG. I would like to see your pics cloud9

Just finished my revamped grow room. The dimensions are 4'X4'X4.5'. I need to make me a CO2 system, so I guess that is next. They are not smelling yet, but they will soon, so a carbon filter w/fans is also on the agenda. The plants seem to like their new quarters.

I'm thinking about putting up my HPS in conjunction with my flouro. Since I have done an entire grow with just the HPS, I think the grow will be even better. The Hortilux bulbs have a decent enough blue spectrum to be sufficient during veg. That why if you can only afford one light when choosing between MH or HPS, you choose HPS. I am gonna ponder this, but I am kinda confused about where to put both the lights because the CFL has to be close and the HPS cant be too close. I am thinking about mounting the CFL to where it shines from the side and putting the HPS above. I have got some thinking to do.

It took a couple of days, but the growth has exploded. The nutrient "tri-attack" worked wonders. I do have some nute burn on the older leaves, but the new ones really look great. Thanks to the new subscribers, here are the new pics.

thanks, man. That is a good gift. It loves nutrients, especially organic
these really do look good for promo seeds and a low budget grow
People need low budget the way things are in the world right now. I am doing it for people that want much, need much, but don't have much. I have spent $40 total on soil, nutes, and pots. I have spent a total of $200 on everything, including the light and grow room.
blueberry gum is already out of stock...lol
Doesn't surprise me one bit, although this cross has been done before and it's called Bubbleberry. I guess giving something a new name helps.

My bad I couldn't get back to you. I am a new father and have been busy with school. I wanted to let you know that you need to up the Potassium (K). I have boosted my potassium and they look great now. It still has the old leaves that look bad, but the new leaves on the plant look great.

I am in disbelief on how fast they are growing. These are the new pics. I have a five day comparison of growth and the third day after I mixed the three nutrients. I call it my Veg Stage tri-attack (Peruvian Sea-bird Guano, Dr. Earth Fruit-Tree Organic, Azomite). If you look at the pics you will see how I have LST'd the stem. A little at a time does wonders.:leaf:

look at those fat little stems i see some bushes coming
I am very proud of the results of going organic. I agree, they are gonna be bushy. LST is worth it, even if you are doing it just to get more light to the bottom of the plant. I am aiming to get the main stem to grow at a 45 degree angle to the lip of the pot, then turn it along the edge.

Great thread.. i just found this and have read everything. quick question regarding the Azomite. Ive never heard of it before. do you only add it when you transplant or do you add it fromthe get go? also how much are you using when you transplant? I noticed you said you were going to use it throughout the remainder of your grow.. how come?

Thanks
