blue widow from dinafem????

Yeah that power kush has about 4 inch internodes and almost no leaves, its leggy and weird. I had to move my whole tub down for that top alone, it practically grew overnight also and I neglected to tie down. Oh well, not contiinuing w that one anyway so will blow it off. Blue widow will be a keeper. Moby dick sadly didnt germinate well and died off.

Ask and Ye shall receive. 400 watt cooltube w Lumatek ballast. 50 days flowering plus 3-4 dark. Hydro grown in mix of Hydroton/Verm/Some perlite leftover from others. Fed w GH 3 part series. Vegged about 25 days before switching lights. LST bent several times to control vertical stretch. Eats lightly all the way through the lifecycle, very nice and stable through flowering, not many shitty leaves that fell off. A true joy to grow out. Buds smell exactly as ud think, white widow pungent with a subtle blueberry undertone. Tight golf ball nuggs w great torpedo tops. 26.5" from stem to highest point Highly frosty w trichs packed together tightly. Looks like a lower yielding plant for some reason. How many plants did you have under that 400 watter?

Whats a reasonable yield for a 400 watt in 80 days from seed? Bear in mind my light is on a mover and this was not the only plant, i dont tell how many I have though. This was a single dinafem freebie also...seems ok to me.

Also you will find as you become more experienced, that certain strains do not respond well to alot of different ways of growing. Some strains want N thru flower, some hate it, some react well to topping, some dont, some are created for yield and then others, like the BW are made for flavor and scent and not staggering yields. Once again this knowledge comes from experience and time, not always about the yield ronjohn. Keep on trucking though, you'll get it!

OK just a fast few shots of the newly chopped Blue Widow by Dinafem. As you can see there are good sized nuggs all the way. Keep in mind this was a 400 watt light on a mover and the temps dipped down w the lights off so I think it slowed them down a touch but still. I did all the trimming so far by hand which means this plant is a wet dream so far to Germ, Grow/Train, Feed (cheap) and now trimming is a breeze. Any questions hit me up. Sorry for the darkness on that 1 bud but the flash is whiting out the trichs. Thats the main stem top, her sisters are all slightly less clustered but not by much

yea my buddy got blue widow as a freebie and has been growing it for the past 2 or 3 grows now. its a quick plant and covered in crystals

i have this going right now too...same deal, freebie from dina fem. yours branched out a bit more than mine. i have only 4 branches, but they are some giant kolas. DWC, 600w. i think i need to up the temps a bit too, dropping around 66 when the lights are off.

looks good though, buds are identical to yours.

Yeah I bent her over and tied down just before flower so I had 6-8 nice mid sized colas and a shit ton of really superior mid stem growth in small tight nuggs totally resin frosted. The Powerkush is amazing though, the stone is strong and psychoactive at the same time. Impressive genetics from Dinafem, I think i want to try CH9 next, realistic prices and breeder specs are very specific even going as far as to list growing conditions for their yields. Not a rep for them or anything just stumbled across at Attitude

I just got my Blue Widow freebie today. Cant wait to start it.

I had a BAD experience with Dinafem's MobyDick as it didn't germinate and I was looking forward to it but it was a freebie. I placed another order and have a Dinafem Blue Widow and White Widow as freebies on the way. I hope they germ this time because if not then I won't ever order Dinafem seeds again. We shall see!!!

its hardly a review the guy got ONE freebie and it didnt crack an he called that a BAD (with caps) experience.

I just planted a Blue Widow and Rocklock that I got as freebies from attitude seeds. We have both sitting in a closet grow underneath a 400w HPS bulb and giving them advanced nutes. We have to stop flowering a little sooner than we want but right now they a the end of veg and I can't wait till flowering. I will try to get pics up by the end of this week. We tied the plants down during veg and that kept them small and bushy. SO DENSE so GREEN. its awesome

powerkush was the best going ... lollipopped it and started some molasses and it was dieing already within 48 hours ... while the crimea blue from barneys is doing even better than before... i know it wasnt me because i am doing what i normally do ... even the deep grapefruit got burned bad almost didnt make it. i really like dinafem but i guess i gotta be careful wit these sensitive bitches.

I have a Dinafem Blue Widow (freebie too) in bubbleponics set with 400W HPS, and 3 CFLs, along with 3 Serious White Russians and 2 Paradise Delahaze, all 6 feminized.
They have outgrown their space and at day 68, only the Blue Widow is ready. Flushing tomorrow.
BUT the BW is our ultimate favorite, the most beautiful of the bunch, about 60", she has fat buds spiraling up her main cola, fat nugs on the sides, so frosty it's like a winter wonderland under the trichome scope. I will post a pic before harvest (within a week).
Definitely recommend BW but anyone got comments as to her taking 70 days? the lowest buds still have mostly clear trichomes, but it's immensely difficult to look at the upper buds under scope, as I can't enter the closet anymore (spillage much?)
