Blue Widow (fem) & THC Bomb grow, Stealth Cabinet first grow

What's up RIU.

I just got the beginning of my stealth cabinet done. Currently I have a 150 watt hps (mini sunburst). I have some THC Bomb seeds regular and 1 Blue Widow feminized seed. Probably gonna do the BW & 1 THC Bomb due to the lack of space. I can probably put more, but I'm not going to push my luck. Since this is my first time, I need to make sure everything is done right and discreetly.

Here's what I'm working with so far:

Cabinet 37"h x 26"w x 14"l ( i believe those are in the right order lol). These measurements are the inside where the available space is.
1 150w mini sunburst hps
1 blue widow fem & THC bomb.

This baby is not yet done. I'm still waiting on the yoyo light hangers, mylar, and depending on what i need, the vent system. This light does not have the option to connect an exhaust fan to suck the heat from the light. What i need help with, is on venting it the right way.
Like a dumb ass, i got the wrong sized screws, so you'll see the tiny holes in the front. Total fuck up, but to late to go back. i filed the screws down, so now i need to find a way to cover the little holes up.
What i'm confused with is how to do the ventilation thing. i've seen different methods, but i need less noise possible. The carbon filter i'll get later on down the line, cuz the smell in veg won't be that strong, that smell i can mask. What I want to know is, is an exhaust fan a must for this grow? From what I've read, the 150w won't put off that much heat compared with other higher wattage light systems.
Right now, i really only have like $90 to spend on venting this thing. I would prefer to not spend all of it, but if need be i will.
Here are a few pics of what I have to work with. I still have a few kinks to kill the light leakage. Shit wasn't done right on the front door cuz, as you can see, the door kinda slightly hangs a bit down, therefore letting light leak out, but i'm sure that i''ll be able to fix that. That's my project for the next few days till i get my other stuff.

I know this is said a million times but any help would be greatly appreciated, especially with venting it.

This is going to be a soil grow, i was thinking on a hydro, but i'll pass this time. If possible, I want to do a scrog with this grow. I should have an update with pics within the next few days. If anyone has any experience with these particular strains, you're more than welcome to share you're insight. What would be recommended food for this grow? So many different types.
I really haven't seen many posts for THC Bomb, so I thought i'd share my experience with it.

Light proof that door if you can see light coming out, during flower light will penetrate in. And in that case means your girls are not going to be so girly. A cheap way to do this is old bicycle tubs stapled and with a tight shut it will seal.

With a small box like that utilize the walls :) Cover in mylar or spray with some flat white paint. If you use mylar I would suggest to not use the foil sheet stuff since the ripples of it from a fan will drive you nuts. They do make a diamond foil that you can find and it does not have this problem. For 1.99 you can buy a can of spray paint and have at it.

will try that out. i have some shit like that laying around. i should have this thing ready sometime this week when i get everything.

alright. just put the babies in soil. i bought some weather strips to mask the light leakage, and i got a good amount of it sealed off, but it seems that there is just a tiny bit still coming out. I've tried to rearrange the strips every which way, but i can't get it 100%. the door being slightly at an angle is probably contributing to it. will a tiny tiny bit of light damage the veg stage? If worse comes to worse, when the flowering time comes I will just throw a cover or sheet over the cracks. I think that will help.
i got mylar all over the inside of the box as best as i could using adhesive spray. i think it came out alright, but could be better.
the babies should pop out of the dirt this by this weekend sometime.
since i couldn't get the good exhaust fan, i got 2 120mm computer fans to put at the top to suck out the hot air. I'm waiting for them now. I'm gonna put a small oscillating fan in there to help circulate and cool the air a bit, and possibly put 2 more 120mm at the bottom to suck fresh air into the box.
does anybody know if having a 150watt hps going to be too hot? people here seem to have different opinions, and i'm welcome to any and all advice given.
will post pics of 75% complete grow box tomorrow. just waiting on the fans and yo yo light hangers.:eyesmoke:

light leaks dont matter in veg only flowering.
k. that's good to know. let's say if i can't get that minor problem fixed, i assume that just throwing some sort of cover over the front of it to keep light from getting in will work? Another thought just crossed my mind. what can i do to the area where i will put the 120mm fans to keep light from getting in? will the motion of the blades block out the light? i'm stumped right there. any ideas anyone?

here is a pic of the cabinet i constructed.
You can't see it, but at the top i have 2 120mm pc fans acting as exhaust. thinking about putting another one in to maybe lower the temp a tad bit. i have a mini tower fan to blow air around the inside. on the bottom back wall, i have a hole about 2" round for the air to come in. my temps are at 84. still trying to get that a bit more cooler. they just popped out of the soil. for some reason, the thc bomb is sprouting faster than the blue widow. maybe it has to do with the temps?? idk.
as soon as i get my camera back, i will take better quality pics.
i was reading on here about using dry ice to lower the temps a bit. i was thinking on using that as soon as i can get a hold of some. does walmart or home depot sell any? i don't have money for a co2 thingy. i read on here that i can make a knock off using yeast, sugar, and water. are the plants to young to use the homemade co2?
