Just picked up some clones from my local dispensary. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this strain. What are the parent genetics. I know its blue dream x some thai, but what thai? Also, any information on the average height you got indoor, how long you vegged, the temps it likes, yield, color... I'm having trouble finding any info on this strain so I'd appreciate it if anyone with experience could share. Thanks guys.

Well if im not mistaken Blue Dream is a sativa dominant strain and the few thai stains that I know are sativa dominant as well. Personally I am growing a blue dream crossed with "god knows what this fu@#ing strain is" and it shows manly sativa traits. I expect you will flower for 9-11 weeks.

Hello Bigdog, Blue Thai is a cross of Blue Dream and a Chocolate Thai male. It was developed by Billygoat Seeds and germinated by me. It is a medium sized plant that is shaped like a small xmas tree. It finishes at 8 weeks indoor or late Sept outdoor. It's an incredible strain with a med-high yield indoor or a huge producer outside. The high is classic Thai and is very psychedelic and long lasting. The taste and smell are dark, rich chocolate covered blueberries. Her nutritional requirements are average. Good luck, Jessy

You gotta watch it with strain names - I grew this one last year and it was a perfect match for another strain "Blue Velvet" which was bred by DJ Short from Blueberry and Afghani - It has such a strong resemblance to thai plants that it is also called Blue Thai and Blueberry thai. Unless the breeder who answered you as the originator of this strain is supplying the PIM club in Sebastapol (where I find this strain).
As for growing it - it has an extremely rapid flowering cycle - 7-8 weeks(!) and an impressive yield for it's size. Also seems very disease and pest resistant - I had mine growing in tandem with several other strains that all seemed plagued with powder mold, however no mold, mildew, pests or anything negative on the Blue Thai! this was an outdoor grow mind you... difficult to move a plant that is, well, planted. this year containers! The high was long lasting and good for pain relief, appetite stimulation and nausea relief. Taste was very sweet and pleasant with little coughing. Also no problems with sleeping after a smoke..
