Blue Planet Nutrients

I want to share an email I got from Robert at BPN regarding the composition and characteristics of the Farmer's Pride line of nutrients.

The Farmer's Pride base nutrients have a mild odor, but nothing that would burn your nose off or change the taste of the end product. They do not smell like sulfur. If diluted and used properly, it shouldn't fill your small growing space with any smell at all.

The Farmer's Pride base nutrients are dark brown in color and have a thicker consistency than water, but not as thick as something like hot cocoa. Our Liquid Seaweed product (and the dry version, Easy Weed) does smell a little bit like a fisherman's tackle box. If you stick your nose up to the open jug you can tell it comes from the ocean, but once dissolved in water for use, you shouldn't be able to smell it.

Our B Vitamin product VitaBlue smells like a jar of vitamins, but that should be expected as it's full of vitamins. Like the other products, once diluted in water the smell becomes minimal and shouldn't stink up your grow space.

As for the rest of our line, most do not have much of an odor at all. Be sure to shake all the bottles before use to make sure all the ingredients are mixed well before measuring out nutrients for use. Store the products in room temperatures, away from light and heat, and with the caps tightly sealed to prevent any unwanted growth from exposure to air.

I hope this helps anyone shopping around for a new line of nutrients. My order arrives tomorrow so I wanted some information as to what to expect with odors and consistencies in the hopes that I can avoid another spoiled nutrient mishap.

I like the Farmer's Pride line, I've used it outdoors before, it grew some killer tomatoes. It has a lot of calcium in the grow formula so you probably won't need any cal/mag.

Very cool. Aside from the FP line I plan on using silica from RAW NPK and Recharge. Currently I run FoxFarm Bembe as my sweetener but since I'm switching everything out I might go for molasses just to avoid anymore issues with the FF line. Do you think the root magic and recharge combined will be overkill?

Fp line is there organic I am assuming any updates on results?

Yes, the base nutrients are organic but I don't believe the liquid blue bloom booster is organic. The nutrients work very well at full strength doses and I'll be using Blue Planet FP for the foreseeable future. The price is amazing and Blue Planet is local to my area in Katy, TX which allows me to have fresh product in 2 days without Amazon. That's a huge plus for me! IMG_20210427_145831141_HDR~2.jpg
This gorilla cookies is in week 6 and has been on the Farmer's Pride High Yield System. The only products I've added to that line are recharge after the toppings and Bembé sweetener in flower.
