Blue Dream Week 10 is it ready?

I plan on starting my 72 hours of darkness tomorrow.
Chopping Monday.

Should I let her go longer?

I found a few nanners popping up today. I thought she was ready at week 9 but then saw all new growth come out of no where after I hit her with the gravity on week 8. I let her go another week.

yes got it as a clone from a friend. It smells more like pineapples then it does blueberry though. The colas are also rock hard.

Last run with her she was ready at the end of week 9. I didn't use gravity and she didn't get new growth like this time. I'm pretty sure its the gravity that made the new growth come out. Shes got my stumped on when to harvest. The trics say pull her but when I look at her, I think shes need 5-6 more days to go.

It's done. Turn out the light and try to keep your temps under 70F. The whole amber thing has proved to be a myth. I'll start a thread about it when I get a minute or two.

looks good. i am getting a Blue Dream clone (along with a Cheese clone and MOD - aka mother of destruction) tomorrow actually. cant wait to grow it out!

It's ready to be chopped.
You don't want more than 10% amber since you will lose potency for every amber trich you get.
THC is present in cloudy trichomes and if you let too many trichomes go amber, you lose 90% potency from cloudy to amber.

Incorrect. By letting it go (gaining more amber trichs) you will lose THC and thereby potency.

i dont mind the nanners and the small seed pods are so small and very few its not gonna make a difference in the end product. But thanks for the feedback. Put a lot of love tending to these girls.

Nice bud bro i am currently growing blue dream vegged for 4 weeks,flowering now comin up close to 2 weeks, how much did you yield and when do these plants stop streching:)

I just chopped the main colas off right now and letting the bottom buds mature. But my last run i hit 2 1/4 lbs per 1k HPS. I know I could hit another 2.5 lbs if I would have filled he space in a little better. They triple if not a little more in flower. They dont stop stretching until week 5 or 6, then they stop and really start bulking which seems like overnight. You should be able to hit 1.5 - 1.75 without co2 under a 1k. Its a huge producer.

Im curious about this. Seems I can't PM ( I assume cause I am a new user) to ask.

Please elaborate on this, Ive been of the mindset that trich color is the way to go.
