Blue Dream, SLH, OG #18, and some others!

I just flipped my plants into flower a few days ago. I am still waiting to sex them. Although it shouldn't be much longer before I can do that. Anyways I have 8 plants all together right now. I went a little over board, because that is more than I can grow. Two of those plants are from regular seeds and they are Cali Connect's Boss Hogg and OG Raskal's White Fire Alien. I also have a Big Buddah Buddah Tahoe and a TH Seeds Underdawg OG. I also have a HSO Blue Dream, GHS Super Lemon Haze, and I have 2 RP OG #18's. I plan on growing 5-6 plants this time, so I will probably be gifting a plant or two to a friend. I would hate to have to cull a promising female plant. I plan on getting rid of one #18 and probably the Tahoe if the 2 reg plants turn out to be females. So far I haven't had any issues with any of my plants. They are all very green and healthy. Most of the plants are between 18"-24" tall on Day 3 of 12/12 today. I have them growing in Miracle Grow soil. I have Botanicare nutes to use, but I haven't had to give them any as of yet. I will post some pics here in the next few days. I will probably update with pics about once a week, so feel free to comment or just take a peek at what's going on.

What size light do you have for them and your slh will stretch. What made you choose miracle grow vs commonly used soil to grow?

I have a 600w mh/hps light that they are under right now. I have grown the SLH before. It was part of my first indoor grow ever. I liked the strain so much that I bought a 5 pk. of them for future grows. 2 1/2 years later, and I am finally giving the SLH another go. As far as Miracle Grow goes, I have had great luck with it. Plus it is a whole lot cheaper than Fox Farms which I have used before too. I pay about $8 for a bag of MG soil compared to about $25 for Fox Farms. I personally don't think it is worth the extra money to spend on the soil, but that is just my opinion.

I just wanted to post some pics of where I am at right now. I am still waiting to sex these plants, but I think they will start showing here very soon. As for the strains that I have going right now, I have 2 RP OG#18's, 1 HSO Blue Dream, 1 GHS Super Lemon Haze, 1 TH Seed's Underdawg OG, 1 Reg CC Boss Hogg, 1 Reg OGR White Fire Alien, and 1 Big Buddah Buddah Tahoe. Right now 1 of the OG#18's is the tallest plant of the bunch with the Blue Dream close behind. The BD is looking like a clone of all the other one's I have grown in the past. That is why I love this strain. You can pop a seed knowing what to expect every time. Anyways I am going to have to get rid of some of these. I only want to grow 4-5 plants, so I am going to have to figure something out. A 600w light just isn't enough for that many plants. It looks like the White Fire Alien is going to be a dude. It looks like it has balls that are starting to form. It could just be some new leaves though. I will give it a few more days and see what happens. Anyways they all look really healthy with no deficiencies yet. I did give them a dose of Botanicare Veg nutes and some Cal/Mag just to try to keep them leaves green a bit longer. That was the first time i gave them anything but water so far. I trimmed some of the bottom branches off of the plants to get some extra air flow down there. Plus it wouldn't be worth smoking that popcorn crap anyways. They just don't get enough light down there indoors, so I always get rid of it around this time in my grows. Looking good. Do you rotate your plants around? I have 7 under a 1000 watter in coco and I rotate them every time of feed them.

Yeah I am constantly spinning them around and rotating them. I had to get rid of the White Fire Alien because it was a dude. The Boss Hogg looks like it is a female though. I will know for sure in the next couple days.

It looks like all of my other plants are turning out to be females. I've also seen a couple leaves on a couple different plants starting to turn colors on me, so I guess it is some kind of deficiency popping up. This is usually the time that it happens if it is going to. I'll hit them with a dose of Cal/Mag. Hopefully that will help them out some. Other than that everything is going good. The OG #18 is stretching like a mother fucker. It is the tallest plant in there by a couple inches. I was planning to get rid of a couple plants, but I am having a hard time figuring out which one's to get rid of. I'm planning on 1 of the OG #18's at least. That would leave me with 6 plants, and I think I can manage them under my 600w. I guess a couple plants might not get as much light as I would like, but they should manage. Anyways shit is about to get interesting! Lol!

Lol! What's up Bazooka Joe! I haven't seen you around in a while. Yeah I have outgrown the closet! Lol! Doesn't that usually happen to everyone eventually?! Actually my 400w ballast quit working on me a few months ago as soon as I finished up a grow. I changed the HPS bulb back to the MH and it didn't want to fire back up. I decided it was time for an upgrade, so I got me a 600w ballast and a big hood that still fits in my closet if I wanted to put it in there. It is much better than the cooltube hood that I had before. I went kind of crazy this time and popped to many beans. I didn't want to take an chances with plants turning into dudes on me and then not having enough plants to get a descent yield. Now I have 7 plants and have to figure out which one's I want to give away or if I just want to try and grow them all myself. Decisions, decisions, decisions! Anyways have things been going alright with you?

I had a cpl boulders thrown in my pond the past cpl months.. old ladys ex got methed out and started some shit so I had to tear down everything! Didn't wanna tease myself on here lookin @ what I couldn't have lol BUT an old school friend of a friend that grows and was lookin to leave dirt for hydro let me bring my newly aquired undercurrent gear and run it @ his place as long as I showed him a thing or two about or beloved plants, show him a diy to build 3 more 10 site UC systems and pay part of the elec bill.. still gettin all those kinks ironed out so I can get back to business. Gettin close tho! Got 56 clones vegged from 3 to 5 wks(14x rp purple wreck, dna rocklock, some kind of kush and one he calls stinky) pickin the best 40 to flower hopefully in the next week.. keyword hopefully! Ordered 9 new strains last week so I'm waitin on them beans for next cycle!

Glad to see ur still keepin it rollin and ur shit lookin good! I know whatcha mean exactly bout gettin outta the small spaces lol I just couldn't take the confinement anymore haha. I know u need the extra space for sexin too tho.. that sounded kinda funny! I remember when u upgraded to the 600 cuz I did to right about the same time. Yeah I had just ordered some beans from Attitude, and I got them in the mail yesterday. Unfortunately, Custom's ripped me for my order, so I have to wait for Attitude to seed me another order. I have already received a new tracking #. I have to say that they are on the ball with replacing my order. I shot them the e-mail with a pic of the package with the Custom's tape on it yesterday night, and this morning they had already replied back with a new tracking #. This is the 1st order I have had that has gotten confiscated out of at least 10 orders over the past 2-3 years. The part that sucks is that I really wanted the Kosher Tangie freebie I was supposed to get, and now I don't know if I am going to get it or not. In the e-mail they said I might not get the exact same freebies because of not having them in stock or something like that. They said they would try to make them as close as possible. I'm not really pressed for beans right now, so I am not impatiently waiting to get my beans to get a grow started.

My buddy grew out a Purple Wreck that I gave him a while back, and it turned out horrible. It tasted like shit. I don't know what the hell he did to it. It was a Trainwreck dom pheno that didn't turn purple but looked really nice. The buds were spongy in texture with a weird sort of lemon lime smell if I remember correctly. I still have 5 fem PW beans that I haven't even considered popping because I disliked what I tried so much. Hopefully you have better luck with yours. I've seen some really nice PW's here on RIU that was actually purple. It was just a beautiful plant to look at.

I grew out some purple wreck last year and I also had a pheno that was purple. I should have cloned her but I don't have space.

This will be my last order for a while seeing as how I still have a white rhino and pepperjack haze from last time that hasn't been germ'd yet, plus the 9 strains I'm waitin on now. I should be good for a while!

I got the PW for my old lady who wanted somethin pretty n purple.. idk how pretty its goona be lol but it will be "hers" and shell be happy to have her personal stash and the mother plant will be what's harvested just before 4/20 so its gonna have to work for me too for a cpl weeks.

Things have actually worked out well bc of that dumbass meth head. It sucks its not in my basement anymore and I can't just peek in on em but I've got more space and everything I need! On another note, I moved 30 of the 40 into the UC systems today so that's a +, now I gotta figure out how and where imma flower the extra 16 not a terrible problem to have tho I guess!

Welp I've rattled enough for now, catch ya on the flip!

I ordered the coffee mug this time, but I have ordered everything they have to get the guarantee with. Like I said, this is the 1st time Custom's has snagged my order in at least 10 orders from Attitude. Maybe even more than that.

If I could actually grow at someone else's house, I would be happy as hell. Even if I couldn't look at them 10x a day. Lol! That's pretty cool of your buddy. I tried that last summer with an outdoor grow, and I ended up getting ripped off in the end. I guess that's the way it goes sometimes. Needless to say I don't fuck with dude anymore.

You lucky dog! You just got that Kosher Tangie freebie. I was supposed to get it but well it got snagged. Anyways the girls are coming along. I'm going to post some pics, so you will be able to check them out. They just have the white pistils right now, so there isn't much to look at just yet. It won't be long until the buds are formed though, and all the frost comes out!

I don't know anything about Heavyweight Seeds, but I really like HSO gear. I am waiting on a whole order of HSO gear right now. I should be getting it soon as long as it don't get snagged by Custom's.

lol heck i have heard great things about HSO..i like paradise seeds as well..the delahaze is awesome huge yeilds and the cold or frost dont phase it..i use herbies never had a issue ever with them at customs..what all did u order from HSO? i got blue dream but i want to get the lemon thai and trainwreck as well..are the yeilds good on them? i grow mine outdoors so i usally get a bit more then indoor set ups..might order the greencrack since it said its a beast of a plant
